Community Showcase 2011 Vulcan Innovation Project, under the direction of the Vulcan Business Development Society, is pleased to present the: 3rd Annual Community Showcase March 17th, 2011 at the Vulcan Cultural and Recreational Centre. The purpose of the Community Showcase is to provide an opportunity for the members of our communities and schools to discover what services, products, and technologies are available to enhance their business, education, training, and everyday life. In the two previous Showcase events the theme was the use of technology. While technology is still an important aspect of the event, this year we want to open it up to allow even more businesses to promote their products and services. To generate even greater interest and participation in the Showcase, we have added some new programs. Lethbridge College will be hosting a Renewable Energy Workshop, and local businessman Ben Heide will be doing a presentation about new “gadgets” and technology for 2011. And we hope to add even more programs. Areas we would like to showcase are:
Agriculture Trades Business and home business Gaming Entrepreneurship Photography
Energy and Renewable energy Education and training Arts and design Health care Entertainment And much more.
This is your invitation to participate in the Showcase. There is no cost to participating in the trade show or to attend the event. We simply want to encourage the participation and promotion of our local businesses as well as provide an opportunity for the networking of people and ideas.
