THIS COURSE IS AVAILABLE IN VULCAN  Students can earn their certificate by participating in evening and weekend classes while having the freedom to work during the day  Students have the opportunity to complete half their classes through Video Conferencing in Vulcan, while traveling to Lethbridge to gain their practical experience  Take advantage of the upcoming projects in your area and the new age: Renewable Energy

WIND PARK CONSTRUCTION : COURSE CODE: T92-088-C01 This new and exciting program is designed to provide the entry level skills development for employment in wind park construction. The course will focus on how the major and minor components of a wind turbine are handled and prepared on a construction site. In addition, students will learn how these components are assembled and commissioned for wind parks. Students will also receive instruction and training in safe work practices and procedures. The focus will be on working safely with equipment and co-workers on a worksite. In addition to risk management practices, industry certifications in WHMIS, First Aid, CPR and AED will be offered as part of the program. Theory classes will be offered through video conferencing and hands on skill development will be held on site. Instruction will be by wind park construction experts. Dates: January 16—April 7 2012 Times: 6:30pm—9:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00am—2:30pm Saturdays

Fees: $1,495.00 (Includes all modules and safety manuals) Registration Deadline: January 9, 2012 Limited Enrollment
