Statement and Synopsis The multiverse is quite a dauntic concept to digest. Due to its quantum premise it can come across as rather complex and perplexing. Many theorists and quantum scientists have devised hypotheses on unsheathing the mystery of our expanding cosmos, most ov which contradict one another. Thus, through the art of visual communication, Multiverse: Greene’s 9 Types explores the 9 possible types of the multiverse based on string theoris Brian Greene’s magnum opus through a visually annotated manner so that this paradigm may be easily comprehended. Illustrated and narrated, our omnipotent teacher of a deity through a perpetual double irony explains the core fundamentals of every different type of the possible multiverse so that it may inspire and entice viewers of all ages into developing an interest to analyze and expand their knowledge of our cosmos. With the help and exploit of his trusty blue-faced extraterrestrial henchmen, our god manages to paint a moving image of what every single multiverse might look like as well as how it may function without all the mathematical and scientific entanglement that surround this discipline. As an independent film supported by Leeds College of Art, this animated short-length documentary solely has a didactic purpose that is to disseminate a point of interest, alongside functioning as our first such professional piece of work that is to assist us in developing our skills and practice. Creatives what are we doing?
Vladimir Voinovski (Alvaldr)
Animator/Sound Designer/Narrator/Co-Director
Setting out to broaden his creative horizons, Vladimir left his home country of Macedonia to study BA Animation at Leeds College of Art. A generalist in spirit, although he studies animation, Vlad creates designs of many shapes and sizes along with music and sounds for both entertainment and self-actualizing purposes. Mainly revolving around 2D, his style has no coherent structure: it revolves around a post-modern experimental method of acquiring different aesthetics through inspiration, whereas the same can be said about his music. Vlad has made a select amount of short-length films, all displayed on Vimeo, and hopes to conclude his final year with a fortified, large scale project. Luca Biasci
