BOUNDARIES
At the threshold of a
CREATIVELY VIABLE ERA
the holistic understanding of what it means to create art, design or innovate is no more aligned to just an artist or a designer. Gallery Push is a space dedicated to pushing thought boundaries.
Residing in Dhanraj Industrial estate at Lower Parel, Gallery Push is an idea and a space that opens its doors to explorers from every realm of thought and talent. helping them CONNECT, INSPIRE,
& INTERPRET COLLABORATE
their respective journeys with like-minded travellers. It endeavors to put a spotlight on those who are passionately pushing boundaries and interpreting their art in unique ways. It also wants to experiment & explore the power of collaborative creativity.
It is inclusive in its fundamental philosophy of acknowledging creativity that is
AGNOSTIC
OF PROFESSIONS AND TA L E N T S
and invites all those who think creativity starts as a thought; an idea, that then gets articulated into a tangible creation.
Gallery Push intends to ignite and expand the gamut of creative expression by endorsing a free flowing articulation ranging across topics, categories, collaborations, and of course talent.
MANDATE
Since its inception as a
concept, Gallery Push primarily aims to curate and visualize conversations, pushing the boundaries of art and creativity beyond the canvas and the genre's inevitable expectations.

BELIEVE
that creativity exists amongst all of us and there is a need to recognize these sparks amongst those who ususally fall out of the orbit of those considered ‘creative’ or ‘artists’.
In an era of collaborations, articulating and cross pollinating creativity amongst diverse talents is a vibrant opportunity that is waiting to be experienced.
Imagine
a textile designer, an artist and a poet coming together; or a surgeon, a product designer and a sculptor collaborating. The possibilities are endless and the resultant creative promise,

breathtaking

visual chronicler and travel illustrator, Gaurav Ogale comes on board as a co-curator at Gallery Push. In February 2015, he was invited for an illustration and culinary residency at ‘The Ultra Laboratory’ in Morocco which also led to the first international showcase of his illustrated visual journals. Having worked on and curated creative projects purely based on collaboration and exploration, his keen interest to initiate cross pollination across the board has helped him articulate a structure for Gallery Push. His works have been featured in The National Geographic Traveller magazine, Kyoorius Design Magazine, The Dharamsala Film Festival 2014, The Wall Street Journal and TaxiFabric to name a few. Gallery Push contributes towards the ongoing mandate of VGC, which has adopted a school in Songir village, Dhule District. Part of the proceeds will go towards the betterment of the school facilities.
