As a team leader of aerodynamic, mainly responsible for the design and production process of car body, front and rear wings,and diffuser.Also collaborate and communicate with manufacturers or other schools.

NCKU Student Formula Racing

With my father and brother being car enthusiasts,I was exposed to this passion from a young age.As a result, I developed a love for transportation design .After joining the team, I lutilized my expertise and was promoted to be the team leader of the aerodynamic.

Like many boys, I had a dream of racing cars.

My main task in this project exterior shell | front and rear wings | diffuser

As the team leader, my main responsibilities include designing the exterior of the car and related aerodynamic components, as well as guiding younger team members on design knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Designing with Formulas and Data

Compared to the general design process, racing design has more restrictions on rules and procedures, so data is mainly used to carry out more rigorous iterative ideation.

DESIGN ITERATION

Utilizing wind tunnel software to analyze fluid dynamics

Unlike car body shells, the main aerodynamic components are front and rear wings and diffusers, which require a more rigorous design process that prioritizes performance and manufacturability over appearance.

The RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) carbon fiber manufacturing process

Molds can be categorized into wood molds and PU molds.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Subsequently, the RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) carbon fiber manufacturing process and surface polishing are required.

Cross-school exchange activitiescation

In addition to collaborating with many universities, such as NTU and NTHU, we also engage in industry-academia partnerships with various companies.
