ADAPTIVE RECREATION West Allis Special Olympics

Get involved with West Allis Special Olympics! Special Olympics provides year round opportunities for exercise, sports training, and athletic competitions for participants 8 years and older with cognitive disabilities. Community Based Transition Program 21+yrs Enroll now in the Community Based Transition Program which serves adults, ages 21 and older with disabilities. This program aims to help participants learn and grow in the areas of daily living, personal, social, vocational, leisure and recreation skills. We meet Monday-Wednesday and Friday 9am-2pm at the Recreation Center. Thursdays we meet at AMF West Bowling Lanes from 9am-2pm for a day of fun on the lanes. All participants must provide their own transportation to and from the program, be independent in personal care and able to work in a group setting. 2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR CARE CAMPS

Need care while your child is in Phase 1 Virtual learning? The WAWM RCS Department has camps at Nathan Hale, Frank Lloyd Wright and West Milwaukee Intermediate where students 4k-5th grade have time to get their online learning done each day along with other structured activities.

The WAWM RCS Department will be providing child care options for each phase of the 2020-2021 school year.
