Full Time Position. General purpose is to perform custodial duties including some building maintenance and repair functions. Custodial Duties - Position is responsible for cleaning a multilevel building with an extended building, dock, parking lot and warehouse areas. Individual needs to have knowledge of custodial equipment and be able to use general cleaning supplies. Basic duties to include cleaning and polishing floors. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms. Collecting and disposing of waste. Dusting and vacuuming office areas. Maintenance Duties - Responsibilities include maintaining warehouse and recyclables, managing a loading dock, picking up parts and supplies, performing light plumbing repair, changing lights and ballasts, some electrical troubleshooting, performing office moves and other building projects as needed. Individual should possess general handy skills with basic knowledge of tools utilized in building maintenance. They will be required to operate a forklift and drive a standard shift truck (GWR 24,500lbs). Forklift certification is a plus. Qualified candidate should have the ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions, make routine decisions independently, sustain long periods of light to moderately heavy physical activity, and work harmoniously with others.
