Lecture & Luncheon April 10, 2017 11:00 am

The History, the Land, and the Law on the Chisolm Trail Presented by Parnell McNamara, Sheriff of McLennan County, former U.S. Marshal Join Sheriff McNamara for lunch following his presentation. Luncheon reservations are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance. Guests that purchase a table of eight for $200 will receive preferred seating at the lecture and the luncheon, a photo opportunity with the Sheriff, and a commemorative gift. The Wizard of Oz™ is a journey of self-discovery that’s fun for the whole family! Children will discover a variety of activities as they travel from the Gale Farm to the colorful Land of Oz. They can also explore Munchkinland, The Crossroads, The Witch’s Castle, and The Emerald City all before heading back over the rainbow.

Sic ‘Em Science Day: Bears Teaching Cubs April 8, 2017, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Mayborn Museum staff and volunteers will bring the art of science to life through a variety of activities and demonstrations, ending with a Chemistry Magic Show conducted by Baylor University chemistry students that is sure to delight all ages. Admission to the museum includes all activities and events. Baylor University students and museum members receive free admission.
