Christmas at the Mayborn

Thursday, November 29 4:30 - 7:30 pm It’s time to celebrate Christmas at the Mayborn!

Join staff and friends of the Mayborn Museum Complex for a special Christmas event full of hands-on activities including a visit from Santa and a special model train display from the Central Texas Area Model Railroaders. Visitors can enjoy performances by local student choirs, participate in STEM challenges, and much more! Stop by Design Den to tinker with a Makey Makey Christmas tree and holiday-themed circuit blocks. Children that are 8 and up can step into Design Den Studio to create holiday cards with paper circuits. Activities and events are included in the price of admission. Admission is free to museum members and Baylor University students.

Mrs. Claus’ Cookie Workshop Thursday, November 29 5:30 - 6:30 pm

All ages can enjoy Christmas at the Mayborn! Participants that are 18 and up can experience a holiday workshop where we will celebrate the season by learning how to make intricately decorated Christmas cookies. Because of equipment being used, this workshop will be limited to those 18 and older. Seating is limited.

Newcomers & Neighbors Club of Waco

Please join us for the November lunch meeting at 11:30 am on November 21st at the Ridgewood Country Club at 7301 Fish Pond Rd.

We will be entertained by Marilyn Patterson presenting us with a book review on Jen Hatmaker's "7:An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess". Come join the fun! The fee for lunch is $20.
