The Central Texas Literacy Coalition

will celebrate International Literacy Day at its meeting at on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Community Bank and Trust Board Room, 1409 Wooded Acres Drive, Waco, TX 76710 at 3:00 p.m Monetary awards will be presented by Waco Mayor Kyle Deaver to five chosen non profit organizations that support literacy. From Wreck Site to Exhibition: My Creative Journey September 13, 2018 at 2:00pm Mayborn Museum

If you’ve ever wondered what goes into creating a museum exhibition, now is your chance to find out when Mark Lach, the designer of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition presents “From Wreck Site to Exhibition: My Creative Journey” at the Mayborn. Lach, who has been to the wreck site, will discuss his perspective of the wreck site and his creative thoughts on how he brings alive passenger stories and artifacts inside each exhibition location. Admittance to the presentation is included with general admission. Museum members and Baylor University students receive free general admission. General admission does not include admission to Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. See our website for detailed admission information.
