DONATE YOUR USED TOOLS TO FRIENDS FOR LIFE!

June 10 – 14 •10:00 am – 12:00 pm & 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm Saturday, June 15 • 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

The organization is accepting home repair & building tools (working and non-working); hardware such as screws, nails, cabinet and drawer pulls and hinges, etc.; gasoline powered tools and craft materials.

Design Den: Circuits

June 17 – 21 • 10:00 am – 12:00 pm & 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

Set to open later this month at 430 Lake Air Dr. in Waco, the new Friends for Life Tool Thrift Shop, plans to sell used tools of all kinds. The profits from this new shop will help fund the vital services Friends for Life provide for the elderly and people with disabilities.

Some activities in Design Den will be provided for all ages, while activities taking place in Design Den Studio (the back area) will require that participants are 8 years old or older.

If you have tools you don’t want or need any longer, Friends for Life wants them. All you have to do is email tools@friendsforlife.org or call 254-722.8100, ext 110, or ask for Easton. Pick up is available for large donations. Your donation is tax deductible within the limits of the law.

Design Den Studio participants will be required to sign in on a release form before entering Design Den Studio. If the participant is under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian will be required to sign in the participant.

Brews & Brushes: Paint Your Pet!

Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 6:30pm at Bare Arms Brewing - 2515 La Salle Ave. Join us for a PET painting party!

Whether you’ve never painted before, or paint all the time! This is a fun place to experiment, and enjoy yourself. I can give you some 1-on-1 help, or you can do your own thing. It’s up to you! Bare Arms Brewery is family friendly, and has a ton of board games and space for the kids. Must be 21 and older to drink, but they have alternatives, like their yummy rootbeer and lemonade! This event is open to all ages and skill levels. $10 from every ticket sold, goes to The Humane Society of Central Texas! Tickets are $30. The last 2 have sold out, so don’t wait!
