Design Den: Storytelling

January 26, 2019 1:00 pm- 4:00 pm Join us in Design Den for a day of storytelling! If you were to build a dream city, what would you add to make the city happy? An art studio? A park? Build a miniature version in the front area of Design Den and add it to our Happy City! Then use your imagination in Design Den Studio to tell a story using stop motion video. These activities will be available for all ages but recommended for makers ages 6 and up.

Examining the Elements of Forensic Science February 7, 2019 10:00 am – 2:30 pm

Join us for the Mayborn Museum’s fifth annual Director’s Forum featuring Skip Hollandsworth, Executive Editor of Texas Monthly and author of The Midnight Assassin. This year’s Director’s Forum is a collaboration of the Baylor University Department of Anthropology, McLennan College’s Criminal Justice department, and community partners to bring an intriguing and immersive event filled with conversations, activities, and a panel discussion focused on historic crimes and the role forensic science has played in solving them. Director’s Forum is included in the price of admission. Museum members and Baylor University students receive free admission.
