Helping to Make Dream Homes HOME PRODUCTS SHOW Bert and Charis Echterling help make dreams come true — at least the dreams of a beautiful new home. Owner Bert Echterling, born and raised in Robinson, said since 1997 Echterling Builders Inc. has been helping others create their dream home — whether it’s new home or commercial construction or remodeling a particularly special place. Bert, who’s been in the business since partnering
with his father in 1997, said it’s a third-generational partnership. “What sets us apart is our experience,” he said. He and Charis work together, with his wife contributing her design talents. “When summertime comes around, most of my older boys are on the jobsite almost daily,” he added. No matter what your dream, Echterling can help you achieve it, whether it’s the much-demanded open floorplan, the popular
outdoor living space, or even a functional utility or mud room that’s now in fashion. “You can bring plans on a napkin or a full-blown architectural design. We bring all your ideas and shape them into a working set of plans,” he said.
The Echterlings will be in Booth 147. “We would love to meet you!”

Rodney Holt, manager, said Southern Cabinets has been offering Central Texas better-constructed cabinets for the kitchen, bathroom, office, laundry room and closets, as well as specialty items such as custom mantles, vanities, hutches and entertainment centers.
Holt said that although they use all types of hard woods, the most popular choice today is rustic alder, which resembles cherry wood and provides a striking rustic look.
Since 1972, Southern Cabinets has been supplying Central Texas families with high-quality products, each designed special for the individual customer.
“It’s kind of Old World meets high tech,” Holt said. “We focus on quality, but are still mindful of the customer’s budget.”

Energy Savings HOME PRODUCTS SHOW It might not be something you give a lot of thought to, but maybe you should. It could save money. It’s insulation, and if you talk to Daren Degner, Central Texas manager of Thermo Dynamics Insulation, he would tell you why it’s so important.
and best on the market — Polyurethane Foam Insulation. The product is so popular, in fact, that Degner said they no longer have to sell it. “They actually call us,” he said. A Waco fixture for over a decade, Degner said this type of insulation can solve a lot of problems for people. Unlike traditional insulation, you can use the spray foam in difficult-to-reach places. If your considering a new home, if want to upgrade an existing home, or if you have a metal building to insulate, Thermo Dynamics is the place to call.
“It will usually pay for itself in energy savings within about three years,” Degner said. “On a normal size house, you can reap the benefits for years to come.” But he’s not just talking about any insulation. He’s talking about the latest

Half-round Seamless Gutters HOME PRODUCTS SHOW A home is an expensive investment, and protecting it is important. One of the best ways to care for that investment may surprise you — rain gutters. Tri-County Guttering, residential and commercial experts on seamless rain gutters, knows just how important rain gutters are. “Soil erosion is a problem
in this area,” said Rhonda Baggett, Tri-County Guttering manager. “We’ve seen brand new cracks on new foundations.” Since one of the primary functions of a rain gutter is to control rain water and direct it away from a home or business, you need quality gutters that can protect your foundation and the woodwork in your home and windows. And if you’re looking for something new, check out the half-round seamless gutter, a
popular item right now. “It’s a different look than what you would normally see on a typical home display,” Baggett said. “It’s great for new homeowners who want something unique that stands out.” In addition to half-round and seamless gutters, TriCounty offers aluminum, copper and galvanized steel gutters, as well as rain chains, beautiful alternatives to traditional downspouts for a decorative touch.
Stop by TriCounty Booth 406 to see a fully functional half-round rain gutter and find out how it can protect your home.
