Wadena Muncipal Airport 2

Wadena is proud of the Wadena Municipal Airport, a public airport located three miles west of Wadena. It is owned by the City of Wadena. The airport primarily serves general aviation and accommodates small aircraft. It has a single asphalt runway and provides services such as fueling and tie-down facilities for visiting pilots. The airport contributes to local transportation needs and serves as an essential hub for aviation enthusiasts and businesses in the Wadena area.

Currently, the airport houses 15 aircraft, including two helicopters. Janson Flight Service, a flight training business, operates out of the airport.

The Wadena Airport Commission is planning to add additional amenities, including a potential fuel system upgrade, new hangers, possibly adding jet fuel, as well as more security cameras and audio equipment. The airport is located at 33512 Co Hwy 77. For more information, call (218) 631-7707.
