GUEST BEERS St Austell — Tribute

Tribute is a magnificent example of a bronze coloured English bitter with a rich aroma of biscuity malt and tart citrus fruit. Juicy malt, hop resins and tangy fruit coat the tongue, while the finish is long and lingering with a fine balance between malt, hops and fruit, finally becoming dry and bitter. 4.2 abv

St Austell — Trelawny

Trelawny was named after the Bishop of Trelawny and produced using Galaxy and Golding Hops. 3.8% Abv

Purity Brewery — Mad Goose

Mad Goose is named after the fearsome geese that patrol the brewery. Brewed with Maris Otter malt, Caragold and wheat malt with Hallertau bittering hops and Cascade and Willamette aroma hops. Light copper in colour with a great zesty hop character with citrus overtone. 4.2 abv

Bath Ales — Barnstormer

Rich in fruit with hints of chocolate, this full-bodied dark ale derives its character from deeply roasted malts. It is a complex but very satisfying beer. 4.5 abv

Bath Ales — Hare & Hop

Hare & Hop is a “hoppy autumn ale”. Described as crisp and dry ale, with heavy hints of fruit, notably kiwi and gooseberry, it has a fresh, heady aroma. 3.9% Abv

Hop Back Brewery — Taiphoon

Taiphoon is a complex recipe involving maize, wheat and barley malts infused with English and continental hop varieties. This pale, thirstquenching ale has a distinctly hoppy yet flowery palate. The addition of coriander and lemongrass makes this beer perfect with spicy dishes. 4.2 abv

Exmoor Brewery — Beast

Exmoor Beast is a dark beer which is brewed with a liberal use of chocolate and crystal malts. The beer has the characteristics of a strong porter, whilst retaining the typical Exmoor taste - a superb blend of malt and hops with a complex long aftertaste. 6.6 abv

Exmoor Brewery — Stag

A strong, copper-coloured premium bitter with a good malty taste, full-hopped aroma and a long dry finish. 5.2 abv

Exmoor Brewery — Wild Cat

A warming brown beer, plenty of hops on the nose — malty with a touch of autumn berries and the usual Exmoor dry hoppy finish. 4.4 abv

Bays — Devon Dumpling

A strong golden beer with a fresh hop character. This ale has a smooth taste with a balanced sweetness throughout. Devonshire through and through! 5.1 abv

Skinners — Ginger Tosser

A lovely hoppy golden ale, fused with Cornish honey, gives this session beer a superb round finish with a hint of ginger. First brewed for red-headed pancake tossers! 3.8 abv

Skinners — Splendid Tackle

Beautifully balanced golden ale, with a wonderfully hoppy finish, brewed with Cornish barley grown only a couple of miles from the brewery. The hooker’s favourite! 4.2 abv

Cotleigh — Barn Owl

A distinctive and full-flavoured premium strength bitter. Copper-coloured premium ale with hints of toffee and nut with a smooth malty bitter sweet finish. 4.5 abv

Exeter — Ferryman

Our well known classic; a copper coloured premium ale. Beautifully well balanced flavour enhanced with generous handfuls of English Goldings hops. 4.2 abv

Otter — Ale

A brown-coloured, well-balanced best bitter with a distinct malt and fruit aroma and taste with malt, fruit and bitterness following in the finish. 4.5 abv

RCH — East Street

This enigmatic full-bodied beer with malty, hoppy, fruity and bitter sweet taste, which all vie for dominance in this complex and well crafted premium ale. 5.0 abv

Red Rock — Break Water

A blend of three types of malt and three varieties of hops give a mouth filling flavour of roasted malt balanced with a heavy hop finish. 4.6 abv

Milk Street — Funky Monkey

Summer ale boasting as many fruity flavours and aromas as a grocer’s counter. Dry finish with developing bitterness and an undertone of citrus fruit. Gold medal winner Tuckers Maltings 2009 and silver medal winner SIBA National Awards 2010. 4.0 abv

Dorset Piddle Brewery — Piddle

Full-bodied and amber, Piddle is sweet and matly with a fruity nose leading to a resinous hoppy flavour with a twist of citrus fruit, giving way to a dry bitter finish. 4.1 abv

Stonehenge Ale — Pigswill

A full-bodied beer, not so bitter, but rich in hop aroma which gives the beer a delightful aftertaste. The warm amber colour is very appealing to the eye. 4.0 abv

Triple FFF — Alton’s Pride

Golden brown session bitter, full bodied for 3.8%. A forward hoppy aroma with a long bitter finish. Excellent, clean-tasting, golden brown session bitter, full bodied for its strength. A delicious aroma of malt and hops. An initially malty flavour fades as citrus notes and hoppiness take over, leading to a lasting hoppy, bitter finish. Featured in Good Beer Guide 2005. 3.8 abv

Teignworthy — Old Moggie

Old Moggie is a lovely golden ale with a good, hoppy, citrus taste. 4.4% Abv

Hunters — Crack Shot

Delicious, easy drinking pale bitter. This is an all round drinkers’ pint that is nice all year round. Be warned, it has been known to convert even the hardiest lager drinker. 3.8% Abv

The Forge Brewery — Litehouse

Golden colour, light and hoppy citrus notes with a hint of elderflower and a bitter finish. 4.3% Abv

This gold coloured refreshing beer uses Challenger hops to give it a restrained citrus note balanced by the characteristic toffee notes of the brewery. It is a light beer which can be enjoyed both on a warm summer’s evening or fresh winter’s day in the New Forest. 3.8% ABV

Tom’s Tipple

The Red Shoot brewery is situated in the beautiful Toms Lane which inspired this traditional IPA. It is created using Golding hops to give a citrus balance to the toffee and malt flavours. One to savour at any time of the year. 4.8% ABV

Muddy Boot

A rich dark beer with a fine balance of traditional Golding hops. The Red Shoot toffee notes are enhanced by molasses and chocolate malt to give it a full flavour. An ideal beer to follow a bracing walk in the forest. 4.2% ABV

Red, White and Brew

Brewed in celebration of all things British, Red, White and Brew is a powerfully hopped golden ale with a zesty nose. The initial fresh, cleansing palate develops into a strong sharp bitterness, a sorbet of beers and a real quencher. 4.0% ABV

WADWORTH BEERS 6X

Malty and fruity with nutty, biscuity hints and balancing hop character. Lingering malty, but bitter finish. Full-bodied and distinctive. 4.3 abv

Henry's I.P.A

Malty and slightly hoppy with a well-balanced flavour and maltiness gradually dominating. The finish is long-lasting to match, becoming biscuity. Refreshingly crisp and sessionable. 3.6 abv

Lily The Pink

A unique blend of golden beer and Angostura Bitters - the original pink from pink gin. 4.0% ABV

The Bishop’s Tipple

A golden brew with an intriguing aroma from the delicate Saaz and spicy Styrian Goldings hops. The full flavour is well balanced with hop bitterness giving a clean finish for easy drinking. 5% ABV

Malt & Hops

Unkilned green hops used within hours of picking, impart a surge of cleansing orange zest flavours and refreshing bitterness, which balances the malt-sweet palate of this pale harvest ale. 4.5% ABV

Strong In The Arm

This golden beer combines finest pale ale malt with a lightest touch of crystal malt. The classic combination of Fuggles and Goldings hops are blended together to give a distinctive and punchy hop kick. 4% ABV
