Wagga Bowling & Entertainment Centre Monthly Edition #1 RANKO JANIC SCORES HIS FIRST 300 GAME & TAKES OUT HIGHEST SERIES In the Thursday Doubles league at Wagga Bowling & Entertainment Centre, Ranko Janic bowled his very first 300 game featuring 12 perfect strikes. He began his series with a 236, then a 300 game, and finished with a 247 for a 783 series - the highest series this Centre has on record! Ranko’s perfect game marked the Centre’s 3rd 300 game the centre has had, followed by Paul Delany (former manager at the Centre) and Mark Lawton. Ranko currently plays in 4 leagues throughout the week; Monday Hot Shots Scratch, Monday Doubles, Wednesday Teams, and Thursday Doubles. Ranko used a 15lb Storm Crux Bowling ball and equipped with a gadget wrist guard. Congratulations for your achievements Ranko! It is compulsory for all league members to be a TBA member, so if you have not already paid your annual fee, then please do so as soon as possible.
WAGGA vs WODONGA is back on again. Starting this round in Wodonga on 24th May at 8AM then returning in Wagga 19th July at 8am. Be sure to sign up! 2015 VIC EMERSON SHIELD registrations are open. The Emerson Shield is a scratch five-person team event with men’s and ladies’ divisions. The tournament is conducted over three stages: (1) individual centre qualifying, (2) zone or regional rolloff, and (3) Emerson Shield Final. If you are interested please contact Jessica.

Hello to all, and welcome to Wagga Bowling & Entertainment Centre’s inaugural league newsletter. It has been a fantastic ten months working here and getting to know all of our league bowlers. Special congratulations to all our Mid-Country teams; Mark Lawton on his perfect game of 300 in December, 2014; Grant Lamonte as Centre Champions for scratch, 2014; Sue Bent as Centre Champion for handicap, 2014; and most recently to Ranko Janic on his perfect game of 300 on Thursday 14th May, 2015. We are looking forward to working to bring you more competition opportunities, with four Wagga vs. Wodonga matches, NSW Regional Tour, Centre Championships, and of course the further development and support of the mid-country teams. Additionally we are working hard to put together a new menu for you all to enjoy with the addition of special theme nights and food challenges. We hope you enjoy the league newsletter and a big thank-you to Kim for all her hard work putting it together. Please let us know if there is anything you would like to see featured.

Coaching clinics, ball demonstrations, more tournaments, or 9-no tap nights. You name it and we will do our best to achieve it! Send your feedback to manager@waggabowl.com.au
the ball, my mind is focused only on bowling.
2 - Concerntrate on one thing throughout your shot. 3 - I suggest low-average bowlers concerntrate on rolling the ball over their target. Higher average bowlers may want to “key” on specifics like staying low with good knee bend at the release.
