BERGEN WINE & FOOD EXPERIENCE 2021

More than 600 guests attended BERGEN’s annual wine and food festival, held in October at the Edgewood Country Club in River Vale. 1 FOOD BRIGADE USA The Food Brigade in Dumont holds weekly drive-through food distribution, handing out full meals provided by local restaurants. The organization partners with the restaurants as well as Holy Name Medical Center Foundation in Teaneck and Our Community Dinner Table in Palisades Park to hand out meals. 12 Volunteers prepare to distribute meals that were donated by Bergenfield eateries My Recipe Italian Restaurant and Lula’s Latin Cuisine as well as Cassie’s Pizzeria in Englewood

BERGEN COUNTY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

When they’re not pitching in on a job site building homes for those in need, Habit for Humanity volunteers help staff at Bergen ReStore, the nonprofit’s home improvement and furnishing store. 15 Volunteers from North Jersey Federal Credit Union

ACADEMY OF THE HOLY ANGELS

This fall, students at Academy of the Holy Angels Middle School contributed more than 700 diapers and those from the high school donated nearly 2,900 sanitary wipes to the campus’ Diaper and Toiletry Drive. Donations were sent to the Office of Concern food pantry at St. Cecilia’s in Englewood. 16 Holy Angels students load diapers onto the donation truck.

REMEMBERING OUR FALLEN

Bergen County officials and the Bergen County Division of Veterans Services joined dozens of residents during the opening of the “Remembering Our Fallen” memorial at Overpeck County Park.
