Randolph Y Sharks swim team capped of a successful 2022 season at YMCA Nationals, 7 in Greensboro, N.C. PARSIPPANY POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Parsippany Police Department offered its support to the local Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey troops during their annual cookie drives. Earlier this year, officers stopped by the Parsippany ShopRite, where troop members set up for consecutive weekends to sell the cookies. 1 Officers and Girl Scouts poses before the cookie sale.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Volunteers from Columbia Bank pitched in to help Morris Habitat for Humanity Restore. Bank staff restocked shelves, repositioned and moved furniture and provided a cheering section during the random selection process for homeowners to fill a 12-unit condominium facility in Summit. 4 Columbia Bank staff members help out at the Habitat ReStore in Morris.

MONTCLAIR FILM

Montclair Film held its first-ever Emerging Screenwriter Competition (ESC) this spring, awarding prizes in six different categories. The grand prize winner was Sam Zaslow-Braverman from Golda Och Academy in West Orange for his work on Resurrection. 5 Winners and finalists of this year’s ESC

ESSEX COUNTY PARKS DEPARTMENT

The Essex County Parks Department kicked off the annual Cherry Blossom Festival at Branch Brook Park in Newark with the Challenge Bike Races. The cycling event attracts bicycle riders of all levels from all over the tri-state area. 2 Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo helps cyclists start the race.

COOPERMAN BARNABAS MEDICAL CENTER

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center partnered with NJ Sharing Network for the annual Donate Life Month flag-raising program in honor of those who have given the gift of organs and tissue, have received a life-saving transplant or are currently waiting for a transplant. 6 Staff from Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and NJ Sharing Network at the flag-raising ceremony
