Calling for Scholarship Applications!
The Wairarapa Sports Education Trust is awarding three Scholarships – one of $1000 and two of $750 – to go towards specific coaching or training costs for Wairarapa athletes. These scholarships will be presented at the Wairarapa Times-Age Sports Awards. Established in 2004 and relying on community support, the Trust has donated over $85,000 in recent years to help local sports people and coaches achieve excellence. Recognises the Supreme Sportsperson of the Year chosen from the 15 category winners. The award is awarded to a category winner judged to have made the biggest impact in Wairarapa sport.
