A Great Escape Store is all about rural freedom, says Manager Dayne Brogden - providing quality products and services for both the professional and the Wairarapa weekender. “We’ve got top-of-the-range products for the farmer, forestry worker and arborist as well as line trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers and other tools for around the home.” A Great Escape Store is a local business employing local people, Dayne points out.

The A Great Escape Store display area is much larger than it appears as you speed along State Highway 2 just north of Greytown. In fact it has two expansive display showrooms - one for Husqvarna and another for Kawasaki. The front display is dedicated to Husqvarna with lawn mowers, garden tractors, hedge and grass trimmers, chainsaws, protective equipment and a lot more. Some of it is spearhead technology such as the battery-powered chainsaws and robotic lawn mowers.
The rear display is dedicated to Kawasaki. There’s a full range of models with a special emphasis on o˜ -road and farm vehicles. The showroom also has second-hand bikes for sale in a variety of brands and stocks a full range of motorcycle accessories. A Great Escape Store only stocks quality products, says Manager Dayne Brogden. “We don’t have imitation products only quality that will stand the test of time. “Homeowners, lifestyle property owners, farmers and rural professionals will all ÿ nd the right product for their purposes so they can make the most of their work day or weekend.”

The Husqvarna chainsaw range includes everything from heavy-duty machines to smaller saws for private use as well as models for felling, pruning and cutting ÿ rewood.
Husqvarna o˜ ers a wide range of ride and lawn mowers, each with di˜ erent cutting methods and all with excellent ergonomics.
