Please see below for the restrictions for our venue. Please abide by the public health alert level rules, any signage we may have or instructions from staff. We will endeavour to do our part to keep everyone safe. There will be limited numbers in confined spaces (bathrooms/pit control/portacom) as well as in the seating areas.
The rules for events and entertainment at Alert Level 2 At Alert Level 2, there are no restrictions on the number of people that can attend an event at a venue, for example at a stadium, cinema, theatre, casino, concert hall or conference venue – as long as everyone can safely stay 1 metre apart. Attendees can be seated or standing. This includes indoor and outdoor event facilities, and both ticketed and non-ticketed events. (See the COVID-19 rules at: https://covid19.govt.nz/activities/events-and-entertainment/ ) If you are going to an event at MMP – the COVID-19 requirements are: • We strongly encourage you to wear a face covering when you are not eating or drinking. • Stay home if you are unwell or if you have been asked to isolate. • Scan in using the NZ COVID Tracer App, there are plenty of QR Code posters around the venue. • Avoid congregating or gathering at entrances or in small shared spaces such as the bathroom.
• If you need to pay for your food, drinks, or merchandise use contactless payment options if possible. • Follow MMPs safety measures on signage and any instructions from MMP officials and staff. • Maintain at least 1 metre distance from others if you are moving around the venue, especially at the food outlets, on the grandstands, and in the pits.
Travelling to an event at MMP while we are in Alert Level 2 If you are in an Alert Level 1 or 2 region, you can travel to other regions that are at Alert Level 1 or 2 to attend an event. When Masterton is an Alert Level 2 area, attendees will need to meet physical distancing guidelines, and keep 1 metre apart.
