SOUTH WAIRARAPA DISTRICT COUNCIL NOTICE TO CLOSE ROADS TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that the South Wairarapa District Council, for the purpose of the East West Access Road Motorcycle Sprint, proposes to close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder. During the period of closure, vehicles will need to take an alternative route via Western Lake Road. The road will be opened periodically to allow users through. Any person objecting to the proposal should lodge their objection and grounds thereof in writing to the South Wairarapa District Council, PO Box 6, Martinborough, 5741 before Wednesday 7th October 2020.
Roads proposed to be closed:
• East West Access Road from Te Hopai Road intersection to the Barrage Gates on East West Access Road, Kahutara.
Period of closure:
• Sunday 18th October – 9.00am to 4.00pm.
