Proud to be in the Wairarapa I was over the moon to hear that the recent Wairarapa Relay for Life raised over $120,000 for the Cancer Society. This is the result of an absolutely massive effort by the Cancer Society team and the many locals who entered teams, fundraised and supported the event. It was particularly awesome to see the camaraderie around the track, people supporting each other through the wee small hours & celebrating their success at the end. It showed what a truly amazing community we have in the Wairarapa.
