These shots are fun to do. I always enjoy looking down at the board’s footprint in the water. This one in particular caught my eye because you can really see how the water channels off the bottom of the board. The three “stripes” look identical to the tail of The Marius if you were to look at it in a shop. Many times, it’s tough to explain how the board locks up in the water or how loose it may or may not be. Now you can see it for yourself. — Meddock

Lil Mike D is a junior rider quickly excelling through the ranks. I met him for the first time on a shoot this past summer with CWB and was blown away. It’s crazy to see how good these kids are these days. At the time I had never heard of him, but after the fact, I don’t think I’ll ever forget the moves he threw down.
