The Kelman Dock is the best perch Clear Lake has to offer in my opinion. Shooting from the rooftop allows a slight downward view on the rider passing by. I always like the type of shots where you can see the trail of the rider behind them and pop off the wake. The horizon is usually higher in the frame as well, creating an “all water” background. This shot is particularly unique to me because the Byerly board he is riding has prototype graphics where the bottom graphic is actually the top. BP must have had is extra strength coffee that morning because this was the first pass down the lake. — Joey Meddock
