ON THE COVER

TRAVIS DORAN

By Joey Meddock Going into a team shoot is a lot to handle for one photographer, much less two. There is an endless list of riders and product needed to shoot in a short amount of time. The planning has to be accurate, mistakes at a minimum, and the performance in front of and behind the lens, on point. You ride and shoot in a way that’s best to show the product, yet still want to be technically correct with the trick and composition. I shot Travis for the first time last summer on the Liquid Force team shoot in Bull Shoals, Arkansas. I heard of his name previous to that trip, so I had good idea he was legit. When we came up with the angle to shoot side by side for this photo riding doubles, I was stoked and nervous at the same time. Stoked for the idea and the angle and a good way to show

when. With the limited amount of lake
