#WakeTechBuilds 2018 – 2023 Formal Bond Projects
Rules of Engagement • PPP is now approved. Is there any state level push? Any opportunities for WTCC? What are the drivers to go to development or PPP versus traditional delivery? Are certain building types more likely or preferred to go PPP? • Let’s have a conversation about that. • WTCC does not have a differed maintenance issue like other institutions. • Managing growth and needs well
• Contract formats – DB / CMAR / Single Prime / Informal Within CIP formal/informal Project. • Delegated Authority allows WTCC to facilitate projects;
• Up to $4 million with State Appropriated Bonds • Unlimited for Non-State Appropriated Bonds (i.e. Wake County Bonds) • DB for turnkey projects, such as, ITS, AV, Security Systems, certain infrastructure & building systems
• How do we interact with State Construction? What rules need to be followed or observed or disregarded? Within CIP formal/informal Project • WTCC follows the State procurement, statutes, and guidelines for developing projects.
