1.12. Precipitation & Hydrology

Very weakly developed, initial soils, mostly A-C horizons or no horizons, sometimes similar to crushed bedrock, shallow and/or rich in stones or grave

- Dead sea has a minor vegetative life. - Its 11 times saltier than the ocean. - thorny kheel – zygrphyllum bush – dessert migwort)

- In the dead sea rainfall is scanty and irregular. - Al-lisan averages 65mm of rain a year. - Atmospheric humidity reaches from 45 to 62 percent

1. Site Analysis Strengths 1234-

Good views from the site Challenging the slope Using the salt of the dead sea The area is full of tourists

Opportunities 1- More tourists visit the dead sea 2- Make people have everything in one place 3- Make in our project medical and entertainment stuff

11

Weaknesses 1- The type of soil in the site is made of strong rocks.

Threats 1- Drainage of water 2- Disasters could happen from the torrent near the site 3- Falling stone from the mountains
