he Rugby World Cup is the pinnacle of rugby tournaments Around the world. Every four years, twenty teams from

across the globe battle it out for the coveted Webb Ellis Cup, and this year England have the pleasure of welcoming the tournament to their shores. Named after William Webb Ellis, who many believe invented this glorious game, the trophy has been won by New Zealand, Australia and South Africa twice whilst England have claimed it once in 2003. The tournament will run from 18th September until 31st October, with the first fixture seeing hosts England take on Fiji at Twickenham Stadium in London, the same location the final will take place. New Zealand, the number one team in the world, will be looking for back-to-back trophies after their victorious campaign on home soil back in 2011, whilst this years’ hosts will wan to replicate their famous victory from 2003 where they became the first Northern Hemisphere team to lift the trophy. The Rugby World Cup provides fans with a feast of scintillating rugby from start to finish, and Walkabout will be showing every game, every minute and every second to customers from around the world. No one is as excited as we are!

players to watch

Watch out for these six players, likely to light up Rugby World Cup 2015.

JONATHAN SEXTON

EBEN ETZEBETH

GEORGE NORTH

Ireland’s fly-half has been instrumental in helping them to back-to-back Six Nations titles, this year and last.

The 6’8” young Springbok will be keen to impress on the biggest stage of them all after establishing himself as SA’s enforcer.

North needs to introduction. Still only 23, the Welsh wing has 17 tries and 50 International appearances under his belt.

BILLY VUNIPOLA

ISRAEL FOLAU

JULIAN SAVEA

Billy has established himself as England’s first choice 8 due to his incredible work rate across the park and ball carrying ability.

The triple-code genius posses the ability to attack from anywhere, creating exciting runs seemingly out of nothing.

With 30 tries in just 33 International caps, the young winger has already been compared to All Black legend Jonah Lomu.

TEAM CHANTS

There’s nothing worse than watching a game and not knowing what everyone’s chanting. Get up to speed here.

ENGLAND SWING LOW SWEET CHARIOT

Swing low, sweet chariot, Comin’ for to carry me home, Swing low, sweet chariot, Comin’ for to carry me home. I looked over Jordan, and, What did I see, Comin’ for to carry me home? A band of angels comin’ after me, Comin’ for to carry me home.

I saw the light on the night that I passed by her window I saw the flickering shadows of love on her blind She was my woman As she deceived me I watched and went out of my mind

At break of day when that man drove away, I was waiting, I cross the street to her house and she opened the door She stood there laughing I felt the knife in my hand and she laughed no more

My, my, my, Delilah Why, why, why, Delilah I could see that girl was no good for me But I was lost like a slave that no man could free

My, my, my Delilah Why, why, why Delilah So before they come to break down the door Forgive me Delilah I just couldn’t take any more

IRELAND FIELDS OF ATHENRY

By a lonely prison wall I heard a young girl calling, “Michael, they are taking you away. For you stole Travelian’s corn, So the young might see the morn, Now a prison ship lies waiting in the bay.” Low lie the fields of Athenry Where once we watched the small freebirds fly. Our love was on the wing, We had dreams and songs to sing It’s so lonely ‘round the fields of Athenry.

Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong Under the shade of a coolibah tree And he sang as he watched and waited ‘til his billy boiled You’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda You’ll come a waltzing Matilda with me And he sang as he watched and waited ‘til his billy boiled You’ll come a-waltzing Matilda

australia WALTZING MATILDA

with me Down came a jumbuck to dri-ink at that billabong Up jumped the swagman and grabbed him with glee And he sang as he stuffed that jumbuck in his tucker-bag You’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me Up rode the squatter, mounted on his thoroughbred Up rode the troopers, one, two,

Swing low, sweet chariot, Comin’ for to carry me home, etc..

etc.. Sometimes I’m up, Sometimes I’m down, Comin’ for to carry me home, Yet still my soul feels heavn’ly bound, Comin’ for to carry me home.

If you get there before I do, Comin’ for to carry me home, Tell all my friends I’m comin’ too, Comin’ for to carry me home

Swing low, sweet chariot, Comin’ for to carry me home, etc..

Swing low, sweet chariot, Comin’ for to carry me home, She stood there laughing I felt the knife in my hand and she laughed no more My, my, my, Delilah Why, why, why, Delilah So before they come to break down the door Forgive me Delilah I just couldn’t take any more

WALES DELILAH

Forgive me Delilah I just couldn’t take any more

By a lonely prison wall I heard a young man calling “Nothing matters, Mary, when you’re free Against the famine and the crown, I rebelled, they ran me down, Now you must raise our children with dignity.”

By a lonely harbour wall, She watched the last star falling As the prison ship sailed out across the sky But she’ll watch and hope and pray, For her love in Botany Bay It’s so lonely ‘round the fields of Athenry.

Low lie the fields of Athenry Where once we watched the small freebirds fly. Our love was on the wing, We had dreams and songs to sing It’s so lonely ‘round the fields of Athenry.

three “Where’s that jolly jumbuck you’ve got in your tucker-bag?” You’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me Up jumped the swagman and sprang into that billabong “You’ll never take me alive!”, said he And his ghost may be heard as you pa-ass by that billabong You’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me

Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Ka ora! Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Ka ora! Tenei te tangata puhuru huru Nana nei i tiki mai Whakawhiti te ra A upane! ka upane! A upane kaupane whiti te ra! Hi!!
