Follow our trail and walk in the shoes of St Aldhelm, the first Bishop of Sherborne, to find our hidden containers full of history facts and games. The trail starts in Sherborne and ends at St Aldhelm’s Head. You can find just one or do the whole trail!

ALL ABOUT ALDHELM (SHERBORNE ABBEY) In the grounds of the abbey...it will take some gritty determination to find it! OS Grid Ref. ST 63767 16490 THE PRAYERFUL MONK (CERNE ABBAS WELL) If you sat in the corner on something cold you might reach down and find it! OS Grid Ref. ST 66634 01368 ST ALDHELM AND CUTHBURGA (WIMBORNE MINSTER ) Within sight of the front door, you would go here if your horse needed a drink! OS Grid Ref. SZ 00925 99953 THE ROMAN PILGRIM (WAREHAM LADY ST MARY’S CHURCH) Go through the gate to the left of the church door, stay on the path, look underneath the fifth large church window. Ignore the shiny metal chimney and check below the grill that keeps big church mice out! OS Grid Ref.
