I can’t believe how fast that summer went, it seems we were just talking about stay-cations and now kids are back in school again. Which means it’s back to the busy fall homebuying season too.

There’s a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks, but the good news to new homebuyers is that most showhomes are open again for casual walk-ins.

Two new showhomes to explore are the Park View homes Entertain and Career models from Cantiro, which graces our cover this month. It presents a whole new way of laned home living in the Hills at Charlesworth.

We also get to talk about Hopewell Residential’s constant drive to improve their home designs, and their latest innovations are now open for all to see in Secord.

Another sign that things are slowly coming back to normal is the return of the Edmonton Fall Home Show this October. It’s been away way too long, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store. Read more about them in the story inside.

Our Explore series winds its way through Southwest Edmonton this month, and, boy, you sure can feel the energy coursing through the area with all the residential and commercial developments there. No wonder it’s become one of the hottest spots to buy a home right now.

We also put a lovely bow on our Trending series on home types in Edmonton, as we recap the most popular models available. We talk about all the innovative designs available in apartment condos, townhomes, duplexes, laned homes and front-drive garage homes, as the lockdowns of last year put a premium on functionality.

Fall is just around the corner and we have something special in the works for you. NextHome is launching its National Reno & Décor magazine that will feature some of the best interior design and renovation trends in Alberta and around the country. Watch for it in the stands.
