Description: SRLs / Small Ratio Lessons are Park & Rec offerings that provide learning opportunities for students at a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio.
Make-Ups: A makeup may be scheduled in the event of a cancellation by Lifetime Activities due to inclement weather. Makeups may be scheduled at the same day and time on the week following the last scheduled lesson for the session/mini-session. Per our Class Makeup Policy, there will be no makeups for personal absences.

Registration is required for participation in programs. Please do not attend a program if you have not been registered.
CONFIRMATION:
Confirmations can be printed or emailed upon registration. If you do not receive your confirmation, please call Customer Support.
CLASS WITHDRAWALS/ REFUNDS/TRANSFERS:
If you wish to withdraw or transfer, request this at least fourteen (14) calendar day before the start date for a credit or refund. A $12 fee per person, per program will be charged. No refunds or credits after this time. Refunds are processed within three (3) weeks. No refunds for non-attendance or lack of student participation.
CAMP WITHDRAWALS/ REFUNDS/TRANSFERS:
If you wish to withdraw or transfer, request this at least fourteen (14) calendar day before the start date for a credit or refund. A 5% fee per person, per program will be charged. No refunds or credits after this time. Refunds are processed within three (3) weeks. No refunds for nonattendance or lack of student participation. Withdrawals may be done online. Transfers must be done in person or over the phone.
QUALITY ASSURANCE:
If, after attending the first class, you are not happy with the quality of the program, call us right away. Tell us what was wrong so we can make it right.
WAITING LISTS:
Waiting lists are established once a program has reached maximum enrollment. If space opens, you will be notified via email. You have 48 hours to accept or decline and you must do so online.
CANCELLATION:
A program may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met. A full refund is available. If a session is canceled due to weather and no make-up class is offered, a refund will be provided.
MAKE-UP CLASSES:
Make-up dates for missed classes will only be granted for class cancellations resulting from inclement weather or from direction of the Arts + Recreation Department.

PAYMENT & ACCOUNT
CREDIT POLICIES:
• Fee must be paid in full at time of registration by cash, credit card or check payable to the City of Walnut Creek, unless otherwise stated.
• All payments are processed upon receipt.
• Supply Fee are payable to the instructor at the first class. Please do not include supply Fee with your registration Fee. Supply Fee are non-refundable.
• If payment plans are offered, customers must provide a credit card for automatic payment processing.
• All credits on account are valid for a maximum of one year. Winter 2024 Registration Begins Nov 20 at 12pm

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
Are you interested in financial aid to participate in a class, workshop, camp, swim lesson, or preschool program offered by the Center for Community Arts or Walnut Creek Recreation? Whether you’re a young person, adult, senior, or family, we want to hear from you.
Scholarship awards cover a percentage of the class or program fee dependent upon income or participation in a government safety net program.
