CUSTOMIZE UNTIL YOUR HEART ’S CONTENT Everything about Amalfi Living is customizable. From altering the size of the furniture to different fabric cushions & finishes, we work with your client’s requests.
CUSHIONS Our cushions are upholstered with Sunbrella Fabrics and includes contrast welting. Clients may choose from approximately 300 fabric swatches including; solids, stripes and patterns. We also will accommodate customer owned materials at no additional cost. Pillows and bolsters are not included, but are available.
FRAMES & FINISHES Our luxurious furniture comes in solid stainless steel or epoxy coated steel. Both frames are electrostatically powder coated. EPOXY COATED STEEL: An epoxy finish safeguards our furniture frames from a wide variety of effects such as; ultraviolet rays, chemicals, food acids, water immersion, abrasion and high-pressure washdowns. For clients within 100 miles of the coast or other similarly corrosive environments we recommend stainless steel frames. STAINLESS STEEL: Our solid stainless steel frames are marine grade and will not rust.
FINISHES: Furniture frames are available in three different finishes: Espresso Brown, Corsica Black & Alabaster White. Custom finishes are available.
COVERS We offer high-UV, water resistant and gel coat friendly furniture covers in a variety of colors.

The Amalfi story is one of artisan craftsmen dedicated to a by-gone era when it meant something to be a “Master Craftsman.” Since our founding in 1955, we have been true to our dedication to create heirloom quality furniture. Through the 1950s and 1960s, we imported all of our furniture from Italy. By the 1970s, our local craftsman’s work mirrored that of their European counterparts, so we began making the furniture stateside to have more input in the design process. Today, many of our craftsmen are now second generation Amalfi Master Craftsmen, still making each piece by hand; one at a time. Robert Howard is Amalfi Living’s Owner and Chief Furniture Designer. Bringing not only his business knowledge and acumen to Amalfi, he also leads with a visionary eye, developed over years of managing the design process of an award-winning retail interior design and manufacturing company. His design philosophy emphasizes form and function, comfort and timeless style. The handsome pooch you see throughout our catalog is Shakespeare, Robert’s Wire-Haired Pointing Griffon. Reporting to work every day, Shakespeare’s main responsibility is plant security, but he is currently on probation having often been caught napping on our stylish and very comfortable furniture!

The Phoenician Collection is a deep seating comfort line, celebrating arches and
circles.
This
collection
draws
inspiration from Greek architecture seen on the pillars and arches of The San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts. The Palace was built as a symbol of San Francisco's rise from the ashes of the great 1906 earthquake, just like that of the Phoenix in Greek mythology. The finish and fabrics selected for this photo series have a relaxing retro vibe, reminiscent of drinking Singapore Slings and Gin Rickey's poolside, circa 1955, the year Amalfi Living originally started.
