This multimedia photobook aims to examine the mechanism of human memory. As time goes by, it is inevitable that memories faded away, leaving details lost and subjects unrecognizable. Through stitching—an artificial act in an effort to patch up the holes and wounds, yet creating new ones while threading, memories regain its contradictory narrative and urge people to keep moving on throughout their lives. Different stitches here exhibit different approaches to the assimilation, or alienation of the lost pieces of human memory.
