?
What can a deserted shanty town become, a ghost city or a haunted-house-like theatre? This site is one of the many in Tianjin, surrounded by glistening high-rises. The extreme contrast of life and death, old and new here inspires me to translate a mysterious urban legend about water and sky into an immersive play and an open-air stage design.

In a tributary section of a city-scale art festival where industrial patrimony and nearby music conservatory serve as the primary drivers, I envisioned a sustainable regeneration plan and explored how artistic atmosphere can be concretized in soundscape and activity and be materialized in the industry. After four phases renovation, the music-catalyzed art district is expected to become a city-level cultural and artistic attraction.

RANDOM FLOW Urban Wetland Study/ Agriculture Park, 4th-Year Studio Bordeaux, France, 112ha, September, 2016 The site is situated in a sensitive flood zone in Bordeaux-Metropole, which accommodates an ecological corridor. In the face of demand for equilibrium between urbanization and ecology protection, I proposed an educative agriculture park. It takes advantage of the natural succession of vegetation and natural flows To realize the ideal symbiosis between human and environment.

In Bordeaus's center, Mirror of water forms a dialogue with historic surrounding and social events. I tried to intervene with dance . The video recorded water from one dynamic instant of shattered reflections of into another. The dance of wateronly begins when body stops.

There is a particular tree by the waterside of an old quarry in Houstens, whose extruded roots marks the impact of changing water level. This naturalist installation made of collected branches is to visually prolong the roots and make evident of its force and the dynamic of water.
