Egyptian court decided to suspend the restart parliamentary presidential decree CAIRO, July 10, Egypt's Supreme Constitutional Court ruled to suspend the execution of the restart the People's Assembly (lower house of parliament) President Mursi, Egypt, on the 8th presidential decree.

The Supreme Constitutional Court decided to implement after the Parliamentary Elections Act is invalid, the judgment of dissolution of the People's Assembly, said the People's Assembly elected in the beginning of the year on the force of law no longer exists.

Mursi signed a presidential order on the 8th, requiring the dissolution of the People's Assembly to restore the legislative work until the new parliament elected.

The Supreme Constitutional Court on the 9th to hold an emergency meeting to reiterate that the Court had made all decisions are final, no person shall appeal. The military also issued a statement on the 9th that the dissolution of the People's Assembly, the military based on the judgment of the Supreme Constitutional Court, within its mandate to take the administrative measures and called on parties concerned to respect the contents of the supplementary constitution declared.

June 14, the Court ruled that the terms of the Parliamentary Elections in part unconstitutional, and announced the newly elected People's Assembly null and void and be dissolved. The Supreme Council of Egyptian armed forces then ordered the execution of the judgment, without permission of the MPs not allowed to enter the parliament building, and released to supplement the Constitution statement, the military to recover the legislative power.
