Garden of Remembrance: A Place to Remember the Loved Ones

When my grandfather was in his deathbed, he was able to make his last wish and that’s to be cremated like my grandmother

What is a columbarium?

A columbarium is a structure designed to house cremated remains, safely stored in urns. It can be part of a cemetery or a standalone, can be placed indoors, outdoors or in a climate-controlled facility, providing maximum options for the loved ones.

Private columbariums in Singapore are somewhat expensive, but given the security and conveniences they provide, you know that your loved ones is rested in a safe and clean place.

Remembering the Loved Ones at Garden of Remembrance

In the case of my grandfather, we decided to place him in the Garden of Remembrance, a Christian columbarium in Old Choa Chu Kang Road, which is the closest to our home.

Aside from proximity, what attracted us to the Garden of Remembrance is their affordable rates and flexible niche options which includes single, double, and premium niches. We availed the premium niches as we wanted the urn of my grandmother transferred so they’d be together.
