This Document Scanner Helped Me A Lot
I never knew scanning documents can be this convenient, if not life-saving, actually! In the busy streets of Singapore where everyone is in a rush, to scan documents can really come in handy. I have first seen a machine that scans documents at a legitimate shop offering scanning services. There I saw many students seeking their scanning services. I saw a student have a page of a book scanned. The book is put in the document scanner, opened at the page where the student wants a page to be copied. The document scanner then produces a copy of the page from the book. Some photocopy services I see can only copy black and white, but with this, I get to see that it is coloured. I admit that I was a bit impressed. That was a bit of years back. I admit that I had not yet gotten in with the times yet because I am really a traditional person.
That was what I had noticed when I observe the students in my library. Those who do not take books home would just take a photo of the pages. I have also been asked quite frequently if I have scanning services. More than this, I am getting a bit annoyed with the clutter due to old logbooks, and records. I battled then my being traditional, and started to put out a digital record of the library, so it will become more permanent. This was when I bought a gadget to scan documents. I bought a scanner from Micrographics to deal with these situations. I purchased a Fujitsu Image Scanner FI-6800. It has many qualities that optimise your scanning service. It claims to have good speed, and good picture resolution.
The first weeks were a bit busy as I single-handedly made the records digital. I scanned our logbooks, and other records with the document scanner. To my satisfaction, it presents a fairly good resolution. Despite the paper’s relative old age, the scanner made the picture clear, The students were also delighted that we already have a gadget to scan documents. They need not take a picture of each page anymore, or carry plentiful loads of books.
