Wuxi Taihu Lake Region Analysis Wuxi located in the The Yangtze River Delta, south of Jiangsu province, is the land of fish and rice with favorable climate. The project is on the Xuelang Mountain of south part of Wuxi. Although the inner mountain is serous damaged from early phase mountain development, the sounding areas are enrich with nature scenes. Through close observation of Wuxi even to the whole area of The Yangtze River Delta, there are rarely any sports-themed parks existence . Wuxi is actually one of the cities emphasizes on bicycle sports and the slow-bicycle roads cover the whole city. Therefore, I combine this feature of the city to design this project, which aims to build a bicycle’s theme park integrating entertainment, sports and biological recovery.

MOUNTAIN Design Thoughts
After detailed evaluation of original landscape and terrain, to cater to the bicycle theme, I add bicycle road web to make original 2 road web into 3. All of these are independent as well as inner crossed. Keep the original landscape, we add scenes which fit the theme of bicycle, including bicycle service center and rest-stops.

FARMLAND LANDSCAPE Design Concept â‘ Texture Rebuild The original land is farmland. To rebuild, I add architectural factors, lakes, walkacross-the-air corridor to form a stereo landscape view. Additionally, I rearranged plants.

B: Holiday resort, five-star hotel near the lake with a excellent view and people can have a good rest in it.

â‘Ą Water Recycle Collect water and process one part for fundamental farmland irrigation, and another part for daily living. The daily living water with filter process could still provide for agriculture and landscape. The water will finally enter lakes through the natural filer and eventually form a small ecological cycle inner landscape via evaporate recycle.

Location: A-Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove Garden B-Guanqian Street C-Ganjiang Road, Pingjiang Road
The project locates at Pingjiang Road, Suzhou, a city of Jiangnan with 2500 years’ history. Suzhou is a travelling city with unique features, while Pingjiang Road is a historical street which besides Pingjiang River and is the most typical and well-protected ancient street. There is only 10 minutes walking distance to go to Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove Garden, which is a great travelling scene. The main goal of this project is to protect architects, combining the traditional residence style, modern techniques, the theory of Humble Administrator's Garden. The project attaches importance to clear priorities and winding paths arrangement. Additionally, I also try to satisify the needs of travelers, to form area features, strong culture, comfort environment and relaxed traditional gardens landscape.
There are entrance, exhibition, relax place, study and reception room functions. Set a shield for entering to form a narrow space; arrange exhibitions for both sides ; Cross the exhibitions, there is a lake, a wide space comparing to the previous narrow one, to form a illusion of a large space.
A. Hall: There is a pavilion which combines the wall to form a narrow space, the 'hall' of Chinese traditional gardens. Small Reception Room: Not open in the daily time. Connect to the gallery, privacy and suits for private conversation.
B. Exhibition: Two exhibitions are the must-pass places to enter east and west gardens. With calligraphy & paintings listed, the exhibitions has a unique lingering charm. C. Tea House: Right across the lake. In summer time, drinking tea and admiring lotus, people could enjoy an amazing environment. E. Music Studio: There will be music while drinking tea. F. Study: Acting as the book reading room with rockery at the front, water at the north, peaceful and elegant.

Design Inspiration
Garden to Linger In
Joyous Garden
The design inspiration is from Lingering Garden and Joyous Garden, both of which have rationally divided the whole garden. Lingering Garden uses architects, cloisters, stones and mountains to separate the space into 3 areas. Lingering Garden has set a series of shields to divide the garden into two halls, which makes enriched changes. My project just applied this space division skills, to put one garden into two and form the space comparison, which makes narrow room and becomes more interesting.
Design Analysis ①Transportation According to the traditional garden’s techniques, integrate the outdoor roads with corridors to form a closed circuit, adding interests to touring around the garden. ⑥ Space Using adding walls to architects to create two different environments and sizes gardens.

3 Comprehensive park The Canal Park, Suzhou, China Base Analysis
The base is located on the band side of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Enjoying good hydro geological condition and convenient transportation, Grand Canal has the first subway running from east to west. Surrounded place has dense population. The location is near the Gym Center, enjoying great exercise environment. Meanwhile, it faces the problem of flooding and social factors, such as dense visitors flow rate and traffic flow. Cannel Culture and History
Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, ancient name “Hangou”, “Cannel”, is the longest, largest engineering and oldest cannel, which has been famed as the two greatest projects in ancient China with Great Wall. More than 1700 kilometers’ Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal has more than 80 kilometers reaches and runs through Suzhou, co-creating the cannel culture. The third change of route in Suzhou part happened in the mid 1980th and completed at the early 1990th. The changed river is not across Xu River and City-Protection River, but running through Hengtang to the 600 meters east new channel to meet the old cannel that run to the south at the 100 meters north of Baodai Bridge. This route detour was completely avoid the ancient zone, protected ancient city, Baidai Bridge, Midu Bridge, Wumen Bridge and Water-Land Gupan Gate, which greatly reduces the noise and water pollutions.

Extend the texture of surround green lands. Cross roads and avenues to satisfy the convenient of in-out transportation. 3.Build sightseeing admiration space, offering rest platform. Extend the Gym Center building to surroundings, build new exercise field for citizens to enrich people’s entertainment culture. 4.Levels of square design, providing culture communication place. 5. The design of parking lot combines the features of inside and outside and transportation stream. Three-dimensional lands process to display the landscape with multi-dimension.

Economy & Humanity Analysis
New District is the early developed economic zone, which draws lots of high degree cultural elite. Since there are many foreign investment enterprises, most of which are Japanese ones with high cultural quality. The project is built beside HR market, office buildings with lots of white-collar workers. Besides there are groups of high education institutions’ students, who have wide-range activity. Clear space construction based on water and green land. Roads are rounded and built above the ground to avoid the continuous of ecological system. Landscapes are set along the roads and spread from the center axis. Space changes are various, which makes the original plain landscape plan to be dimensional and full of levels. Every unites and roads are cross each other to strength the connection between green land and landscapes.
