CHIVAS REGAL BLENDED DINNER 2021

By Wanjiku Thuku Chivas Regal held a very exclusive exquisite dinner on Friday May 28 th, 2021, where they blended fashion, music, and sports at an exclusive venue. The special VVIP guests celebrated pure africanness as the dined and wined for most of the evening getting to know more about the Chivas regal brand and enjoying the ambience of the venue with lots of pomp, color, laughter, and great networking opportunities.


Fashion Designer Imani Migwi of Manciny Fashion Brand collaborated with Chivas Regal and Victoria Kimani to bring out the best of her Chivas afro blend fashion collection pieces. With a lovely burgundy finish setting to give a warm ambience perfect for the evening occasion.


One thing that was the best highlight of the evening was a private pop-up fashion capsule to view the fashion collection that was on display in glass form surrounding the room. This was courtesy of Imani migwi of Manciny who put all these fashion pieces together blended athleisure pieces of Kenyan streetwear revolution by Chivas regal and Manchester united colors and logos in her collection.


Imani Migwi’s greatest inspiration is the Chivas regal signifier which powerful yet playful form of expression that is embedded into the bespoke fabric breathing life into the collection. The night was not complete without the guests tasting and having an extra ordinary food pairing experience with Chivas Brand ambassador to East Africa -Emmanuel Osinde who said, “This year’s blended dinner was splendid … seeing an idea come to life in a night where guests could enjoy themselves with Chivas, but most importantly seeing the work done by Imani for Manciny was such a joy for us as brand team. The team put in hours of work and no sleep to make this vision come to life, and they


executed it seamlessly. I couldn’t be prouder; we’ve set the bar, and next year we’ll raise it even further”.

The luxury scotch whiskey was used to change how the venue serves the signature rib-eye steak, seared salmon, and other curated pairings to bring new life to how the brand is experienced and used by Kenyan consumers to inspire, create, and enjoy. The Chivas afroblend campaign takes a firm position in its words ‘success is a blend’.
