DIAGEO WORLD CLASS PARTNERS WITH ZEN GARDEN FOR FASHION HIGH TEA 2019 Zen Garden’s Fashion High Tea, one of Nairobi’s most anticipated fashion events partnered with Diageo World Class, the spirits company behind some of the world's most-loved brands including The Singleton, Cîroc, Tanqueray, Don Julio and the Classic Six Single Malts selection.

Celebrities and members of the fashion industry dazzled in unique and colourful designs at the high-profile event as they enjoyed the fashion show. The Runway which was set intentionally on the upper lawn, allowed for intimate table settings and 360degree views of the fashion show. The models showcased designs from both local and international labels. The annual Fashion High Tea event is hosted to support various charitable causes and the proceeds from this year’s event went to The Nest – A centre established in 1997 for the rescue, rehabilitation and reintegration of children in conflict with the law and children of imprisoned mothers.

Recognized for their heritage and craftsmanship, the Diageo World Class portfolio paid perfect homage to the fashion event with their signature cocktails. Some of them include the CĂŽroc Dawa, the Singleton Old Fashioned, the Don Julio Paloma and the Tanqueray and tonic.

& Tonic – Tanqueray No. Ten and tonic served over ice with a splash of pink grapefruit juice garnished with a grapefruit twist
Cîroc
Dawa - A modern style of dawa incorporating the traditional flavours – we used Cîroc Vodka, Honey Water (1:1 honey and water) and a citric acid solution which gives the citrus acidity instead of lime juice
Tailfire
Old Fashioned – Singleton Tailfire stirred over ice with Sugar Syrup and bitters. Garnished with an orange twist
 Paloma
– Don Julio Anejo (aged 18months) made with freshly squeezed Pink Grapefruit juice, homemade vanilla syrup and a little saline solution.
