KENYA FOOTBALL STAR HEADS TO SPAIN
By Wanjiku Thuku ISylvia Muathe (24), a talented soccer player from Kenya has been identified by Talent identification, opportunity and scholarship linking organisation, Scholarships (WWS), to attend trials in Valencia, Spain this February. The IT graduate impressed the WWS scouts at the Africa Global Showcase trials held in Nairobi in August 2022 and was invited to join the WWS International Academy in South Africa where she has been undergoing hi-performance specialised training to prepare for potential professional opportunities in the competitive sport.
Muathe has continued to move from strength to strength in the Academy, developing and honing her talent and is now ready to her talent in front of a world stage in Spain. She will be joining two teams for the trials, Mislata FC and Torrent FC for two weeks and will have the opportunity to
