KNT (Kenya National Theatre) held a night of poetry and music recently dubbed ‘Out of the Closet’ as poets, artists and spoken word individuals gathered on one stage to celebrate life, love, music and everything in between poets, musicians and spoken word artists dug deeper into the life and love and adulthood without holding anything back and did a fantastic job while at it.
The performers included brokuod,ulydiah kagiri,felly karembo,cardiac poet, Mara Wambui, Geo sax, Jave samson, Lexas mshairi,tom Artman, Paita and masufuria(brothers of destruction), Ethan muziki,undisputed revolutionary spitter (as the proprietor of the show), two artists from the Kenyan coast including the famous Teardrops, amongst a few others. The audience sang along to each song

word for word and were left in awe as the artists battled it out onstage in a unique way. Each person in the audience paid 1000kshs as entry fee and were thoroughly entertained. It was a night to remember.
