TECNO, a global premium smartphone brand, unveiled the TECNO CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian Edition at the exclusive yet super luxurious Ankole Grill restaurant in Kitisuru recently. TECNO CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian Edition smartphone is the world’s first smart device that uses “sunlight drawing” technology to allow the phone to change colors in sunlight and also in artificial light – creating a device that is both artistic and intuitive. The special guests were treated to cocktails,mocktails,canapes,warm bonfire Mondrian phone experience area to test the phones and get a feel of their unique features as well as a sumptuous dinner organized by the Tecno Management Team.

The event which was hosted by Nick Mutuma, took the guests on a journey of how this particular phone model came into perspective together with the tecno bosses including Brian(Product Manager of Tecno Kenya) and Martin (Tech Content Creator of Techweez) who spoke extensively about the magnificent Mondrian smartphone features, stating its prices and its uniqueness in the telecommunications market of hi-tech smartphones, setting the pace for futuristic smartphones worldwide.The lovely ushers also welcomed the guests with gift hampers ,got them to sign the Camon experience fibre glass board with special marker pens as they also got their makeup done by Phiona Beauty.
Otile Brown who is currently in America on tour passed his greetings to everyone through a short video talking about the features of the Mondrian smartphone and how it's the hottest technology in the market. Dj D-lite was on the decks giving eccentric music mixes as the guests mingled and networked throughout the event plus took part in a raffle draw where one lady winner won the actual Mondrian smartphone in amazement. The social media influencers who graced the occasion were Silvia Njoki,Maureen Waititu,Kagwe Mungai, The famous fashion stylist Brian Babu, Rahab of Potentash,Joy Kendi and Sharon Mwangi amongst a few others. This is a continuation of the CAMON 19 Series, because in June, they unveiled the CAMON 19 and CAMON 19 Pro. TECNO’s “sunlight drawing” technology – more formally known as polychromatic photo isomer technology – is a process that breaks through the technical limitations of single-color or dual-color discoloration, and is inspired by the works of Mondrian, enabling the phone’s shell to follow geometrical patterns of color change in the sun.
