Tribal Collabs Young Designer’s Competition
Tribal Chic Organizers have decided to introduce a new concept called ‘Tribal Collabs,’ a young designer’s competition sponsored by little red. This group of upcoming designers have been divided into three groups-Team Purple, Team Pink and Team Blue all working in two to three people to bring out the best of their designs through the following themes-A different world, Sustainably Trendy and One tribe is back. After doing mini interviews on each group of designers, Team Blue are doing an aquatic inspired design to their pieces ,Team Pink are doing an Asian inspired piece while Team Purple are doing a piece inspired by the sun and clouds throughout the week, these young designers have been having workshops where they talk about their designs and get judged/critiqued by miss Angela muiruri((Radio host at capital FM )in conjunction with a special guest female judge from Spain ..This is all a part of hyping up/gearing up for the main event this weekend to be held at the Tribe hotel located at the village market shopping mall, which will include three runways ,pop-up markets ,canapes and drinks, gift hampers and lots of surprises. The winning team will get to display their creation on the main runway. The main event will be hosted by fareed khimani and Amina abdi rabar. More guests of honor like the Colombian Ambassador are expected to grace the occasion as well as other guest judges from various parts of the world. It is set to be a night filled with pomp, color and extraordinary fashion
designs all supported /sponsored by nation media group, singleton Kenya, capital FM and the Colombian embassy.
