WRC RALLY AND KOROGA STANS KENYANS IN NAIVASHA

Naivasha was ablaze this past weekend as Kenyans and people from all parts of the world flew into the country with helicopters, private jets and drove down to witness the WRC Rally and Koroga Festival in all their purest form. The musical and sporting extravaganza attracted a lot of attention from coroporates,stakeholders,inverstors ,media, celebrities and regular citizens who came to dine ,wine, experience some of the best holiday resorts within the Naivasha town like Sweet Lake Resort,Sawela Lodge and Enashippai Hotel with all their exquisite decor, family activities like boat rides, swimming and enjoyed watching the hippos and other wild animals in their natural habitat as they live their best life in that ambience/environment.

The fast cars, speed.adrenaline that comes with music, food and drinks of all kinds, fun, music and chilling yet cool weather set the mood for the whole weekend especially the brilliant performances from all the drivers, wrc officials landing in choppers, the president making his grand entry into the Hells gate for the finale flag off were some of the most memorable epic moments to cherish for a long time.

With the current recession in Kenya and the world, the turnout for both events was slightly lower than last year but that did not dampen the high expectations of Kenyans to drive down to Naivasha as their way of getting away from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi hectic crazy daily routines. It was a peaceful and historic moment for Kenyans who all walked away knowing that they need to explore Kenya more and attend more events within the country to promote our tourism, sports and entertainment industries.

Tarrus riley was the main headliner and shut down naivasha ‘musically speaking’ by giving a stellar performance with his live band that which was imprinted on the hearts, minds and souls of all Kenyans who were thrilled by the emotional yet powerful performance leaving them smiling with tears of joy-music that restores, inspires and gives them hope for better days to come.
