THE ANNEX OF PULLMAN PULLMAN, WA

Role: Documentation/ Designer Year Completed: Under Construction Construction Budget: Aprox. $48 million

Size: 200,000 GSF

Sector: Student Housing

This student housing complex features seven three-story residential buildings with amenity clubhouse. 204 units are provided to students, and consist of 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom layouts. In an effort to provide efficiency and connection to the local environment, breezeways allow access into the units.

The site is located in the pacific northwest which is home to the Palouse Landscape - the inspiration for the facade panel color scheme and design across the complex. The yellow grasses are represented by the yellow Alaskan cedar heavy timber clubhouse, while the blues, greens, grays, and browns find their presence in the facade panels adjacent to the windows of the residential buildings to create graphic interest and movement along the elevations.

NEEDHAM, MA

Role: Team Designer

Year Completed: Conceptual Design

Construction Budget: N/A

Size: 81,000 GSF

Sector: Mixed Use Residential & Retail

This conceptual design features 79 units, amenity and leasing office, as well as street level retail space. Parking is located in back of the site and in a sub-grade garage to provide a wider street scale that is both approachable and inviting.

Terraces are provided to the fourth floor apartments in order to set the facade back and provide relief along Chapel Street. Access to the commuter rail is located at the back of the site with walking access to the center of town; making the project a focal point and destination.
