Season Outlook / Schedule

Veteran squad prepares for trip back to the postseason The Warriors spent most of 2010 hovering in the middle of the pack in the CCAA before finishing in fifth place in the conference. Four players were selected to All-CCAA team and three of them — David Contreras, Andrew Stueve and Leonard Giammanco — returns this season. Giammanco, a first-team All-CCAA pick, was also selected to the All-West Region squad by the NCBWA. Also highlighting the season was the selection of senior pitcher Eric Cendejas in the 33rd round by the Los Angeles Angels, which marked the fifth draft pick for the Warriors in the last three years. The 2011 Warriors have added a few additions to a veteran squad who returns 17 players from last year’s team. Four new additions were in the program a year ago but used redshirt seasons for various reasons. The Warriors will also lean on seven transfers to complete the roster. With this depth and experience the Warriors are poised to make a run for their third appearance in the CCAA postseason tournament. PITCHERS The Warriors look to be strong once again on the mound after finishing second in the CCAA in earned run average a year ago. Despite the loss of Cendejas, the Warriors return every other major contributor from the staff that posted a team earned run average of 4.40. Only natiional runner-up UC San Diego had a better pitching staff (3.10 ERA). Stueve will once again be a staple in the rotation as he enters his fourth season as a starter. In three years Stueve has notched 14 wins and posted a 3.68 career ERA. He was the opening day starter for the second straight season. Senior starters Vinny Pacchetti and Kory Wallace both also returns in the starting rotation. The two combined for 11 wins a season ago. Giammanco is back after having a banner season in the bullpen when he posted a 2.05 ERA, en route to earning first team All-CCAA, NCBWA All-Region and ABCA second team AllRegion honors. Junior Phil Quade, who led the team with 20 appearances, will provide a proven commodity in the bullpen while senior lefty Chris Anklam also returns in the ‘pen. Senior Michael Johnson, who emerged as both a productive hitter and pitcher in the second half of the season, will look to contribute in various roles. Additions of Chris Short (Diablo Valley

2

College), Ryan Vander Tuig (San Jose State), Sean Carillo (Los Medanos CC), Blake Morrison (West Valley College) and Keith McDaniels (Los Medanos CC) will add depth and options on the pitching staff. CATCHERS Proven talent will provide leadership behind the plate for the Warriors with two transfers. Joe Medeiros (UC Davis) and DJ Arellano (New Mexico State) will split time behind the dish. Medeiros played high school ball at Buhach Colony High School (Atwater) and Arellano comes from Orange Coast College where he was the MVP of the state playoffs when his team won the 2009 California State Championship. Bryce Smith (Porterville College), a redshirt last season, has also emerged and will look to compete for playing time. INFIELDERS The depth and an experienced veteran group should make the Warrior infield a solid piece to the team’s defense. The defense, which ranked second to last last season, has improved drastically. Senior Casey Filkins, who started 38 games last season, will compete for playing time at first base with senior Boomer Donnell and utility man Johnson. Johnson, who posted a .336 batting average last season, was primarily used as designated hitter. At second base sophomore Colton Beatty and redshirt junior Garret Wright will provide stability while utility infielder Thomas Shull will also be in the mix for time at second. Shull along with sophomore Ross Gonsalves and senior Kory Vitato will all compete for time at shortstop. At the hot corner, Vince Hungerford returns at third base a year ago. Vitato and Shull will also fill in at third, as needed. OUTFIELDERS Four seniors anchor a strong unit in the outfield that starts with All-CCAA performer Contreras returning for his senior season. Contreras, a fourth-year starter, is on pace to break six Cal State Stanislaus career records in 2011. The senior outfielder is 51 at-bats, 24 runs, 56 hits, 12 doubles, 78 total bases and 36 RBI away from being the Warriors’ all-time leader in all of those offensive categories. John Canepa returns after starting 26 games a year ago. He finished the season

Sophomore Cisco Green will also look for time in the outfield and Filkins will also fill in if needed.

Warrior Baseball Field

Warrior Baseball Field Warrior Baseball Field has continually been improved since it was originally built in 1965. Many improvements were made by former Head Coach Jim Bowen including the addition of fencing, dugouts and bleachers. In 1987, the pressbox and storage facility were added. In 2000 a new scoreboard was added in left field and in 2001 the batting cages were installed. Over the course of current head coach Kenny Leonesio’s tenure a barbecue area was added down the left field line, a team clubhouse with oak lockers for each player was added, as well as an old style manual scoreboard in right center field at Warrior Field. In January of 2009, the field had a major facelift with a brand new backstop. A low brick wall with mesh netting replaced the old steel cage behind home plate, giving fans a better view of the field as well as being closer to the action. Leonesio and his staff care for the facility including all the grounds keeping and landscape work to keep the field in immaculate condition. All in the same vicinity on the east side of campus the athletics facilities include Warrior Arena, two softball fields, six tennis courts and the new Student Recreation Center with the lighted Warrior Stadium and Al Brenda Track. A full-size swimming pool and fitness center are adjacent to Warrior Arena and are accessible to all students, faculty and staff. Field Dimensions: Left field line 340 feet Right field line 340 feet Left-center field 375 feet Right-center field 375 feet Center 380 feet

National Champions 1976

(33-20-2) The Warrior baseball program gained full membership in the Far Western Conference and affiliation with the NCAA Division III to open its second decade of competition. With the top four pitchers returning, optimism ran high. The team returned from its Arizona trip with a 5-9 record in the midst of a six-game losing skid. The Warriors then began playing up to their potential and won 20 of the final 30 games on the schedule and were barely edged by UC Davis for the league title on the last day of the season. With a regular season record of 26-19, Stanislaus received another bid for postseason action. After opening the district playoff with a loss to Westmont College, the Warriors swept to seven consecutive come- from-behind wins to become the first-ever National Champion in Division III. The heart of the order (Dan Boer, Rusty Kuntz, Mel Anderson) was virtually unstoppable throughout the playoffs. Boer was honored as the MVP in the World Series and named first team AllAmerican.

1977 (35-18-1) The 1977 Warriors are generally regarded as the finest team in the history of the program on the basis of outstanding balance. Seven starters batted .294 or better, the pitching staff compiled a record-setting 2.69 ERA with seven shutouts and the defense fielded at a sparkling .955 clip. The team repeated as conference runner-up and closed the year with 10 straight wins. With a 29-18 regular season record, the Warriors earned a trip to the West Regionals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, which coincidentally was coach Jim Bowen’s hometown. These Warriors were at their best in postseason play, devastating the regional oppositions with three one-sided victories (wins of 20-2, 10-4 and 22-1). The competition stiffened at the World Series, but three more consecutive wins brought CSU Stanislaus its second consecutive national championship. Leadoff man Rusty Kuntz — who batted .397 with 79 hits, 64 runs, 14 home runs, 47 RBIs, and 21 stolen bases during the season — was named World Series MVP and earned first team All-American honors.

Retired Jersey Numbers 1

JOHN FARMER Catcher • 1976-77

John Farmer was a starting catcher on the 1976 and 1977 national championship teams. A graduate of San Luis Obispo High School and Cuesta Junior College, Farmer was said to be the best catcher who ever played at Stanislaus. “He was an outstandining defensive catcher at 5-feet-9. He was a very scrappy and competitive guy,” former head coach and Warrior Athletics Hall of Famer Dr. James Bowen said. “I remembered him going 4-for-7 from the plate in his two championship games. He was the best overall catcher ever to play here.” The Most Valuable Player award at the NCAA Division III National Championship has been named after Farmer, after he died in a plane crash in January 1978.

RON VERMEULEN DAVID GOMES

Pitcher • 1977-78

Ron Vermeulen was a longtime teacher at Modesto’s Downey High School where he also served as the head baseball coach. He was a member of the 1977 national championship team and a key starter on the 1978 team that placed fourth in the country. “Ron pitched an outstanding complete-game two hitter in a 1978 regional game in Cedar Rapids to help the team return to the national tournament,” Bowen recalls. “He was a solid fastball-slider pitcher you wanted in the game when the chips were on the line. He was a key team leader and an outstanding baseball coach in his latter professional life.” Vermeulen passed away in 1996 after losing a long battle with cancer.

JIM BOWEN Head Coach • 1971-85, 1987-96

On Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, former Warrior head coach Dr. Jim Bowen, was honored by Cal State Stanislaus when his jersey number 20 was retired. Under Bowen, Warrior teams won 639 games, two NCAA National Championships and nine NCAA regional titles. During his tenure, student-athletes won in the classroom as well as on the diamond. For these outstanding achievements Bowen has been inducted into the CSUS and American Baseball Coaches Association Halls of Fame. A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he played on a state champion prep baseball team. He coached at the high school level for five seasons, and later was an assistant at the University of Iowa before coming to CSU Stanislaus. He has been inducted into the Hall of Fame at Thomas Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. Coach Bowen was twice named National Coach of the Year, and seven times as Regional Coach of the Year. He was selected as an assistant coach for a United States Baseball Federation team that played in Caracas, Venezuela (’79), and the next year as head coach of the USBF team that played in Seoul, Korea. Dr. Bowen has spent 32 years as a tenured full time professor, nine of which he also served as chair of the physical education/health department. He was also the first elected Speaker of the Faculty College of Education. Bowen passed away on Dec. 10, 2009 after a long illness at the age of 66. The Warriors are wearing coach Bowen’s initials on their sleeves during the season in his memory.

The California Collegiate Athletic Association has been the nation’s most successful intercollegiate athletic conferences since its establishment in December 1938. The 12-member league is home to some of the nation’s finest NCAA Division II athletic programs in Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal State L.A., Cal State San Bernardino, Cal State Stanislaus, Chico State, CSU, Monterey Bay, Humboldt State, UC San Diego, San Francisco State and Sonoma State. Cal State Bakersfield ended its long stint as a member of the conference this past year after reclassifying to to Division I. CCAA institutions compete in seven women’s and six men’s conference-sponsored sports. Fall sports include men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball. Men’s and women’s basketball are contested in the winter, and women’s tennis, men’s golf, men’s and women’s outdoor track & field, softball and baseball comprise spring competition. CCAA members have won 149 NCAA Championships (98 men, 49 women) all time, far and away the most of any Division II conference.

Michael Simpson 2010-11 CCAA President Director of Athletics, San Francisco State 1600 Holloway Ave. San Francisco, CA 94132 Office (415) 338-2218 Fax (415) 338-1967 Email msimpson@sfsu.edu

On the men’s side, CCAA members have brought home at least 10 titles in swimming & diving (25), wrestling (16), track & field (13), tennis (11) and baseball (10). In 2010, Cal Poly Pomona captured the men’s basketball title. CCAA institutions have been very successful in the history of NCAA women’s athletics, having won 10 cross country, 10 softball, six track & field, five volleyball and five basketball national championships as well as 18 more in four other sports. The CCAA has undergone several changes in conference membership since charter members UC Santa Barbara, Fresno State, San Diego State and San Jose State came together to form the league in 1938. Over the past 60 years, a number of institutions have been members of the CCAA, including Cal State Northridge, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Chapman, Cal State Fullerton, Long Beach State, Pacific, Pepperdine , UC Riverside, UC Davis and Grand Canyon University. The CCAA Commissioner’s Office relocated from southern California to the San Francisco Bay Area-suburb of Walnut Creek in July 1998. Robert J. Hiegert is in his 14th year as the Commissioner.

This is Cal State Stanislaus

A top-rated institution recognized for academic excellence, outstanding graduation rates, commitment to diversity, and championship athletics, CSU Stanislaus was named one of “The Top Public Universities–Master’s” institutions in the West by U.S. News & World Report, one of the “Best 373 Colleges” in the nation by The Princeton Review as well as one of 120 “Best Value Colleges.” Our unique way of thinking about education shows up in everything we do—from the one-on-one mentoring relationships students enjoy with faculty and staff to the renowned small class sizes we offer. It’s who we are. It’s one reason why so many of our alumni enjoy success beyond college. And it’s also why nearly 9,000 students continue to expand their intellectual, creative, and social horizons while seeking their degrees from CSU Stanislaus.

We are learning-centered

At CSU Stanislaus, we believe in an open marketplace of fresh ideas where voices and opinions are freely exchanged both inside and outside the classroom. Our faculty members are professional educators who have built their careers on creating an ideal environment for learning. As experts in their fields, many are involved in active research projects that bring cutting-edge theories and practices straight into the classroom community.

Rigorous programs

At CSU Stanislaus, students are introduced to a wide range of quality programs that will challenge minds, inspire hearts, and actually qualify students for something that fits their ambitions. We offer more than 1,000 courses all told in our six distinct colleges. We also offer 40 undergraduate programs, 29 graduate majors, five graduate certificate programs, and a host of teaching credentials.

Honors Program

Advanced students discover their potential in our Honors Program, designed for students of unusual curiosity, energy, and academic capability representing all disciplines. Honor students take upper-level coursework central to their major or discipline and participate in a wide range of cocurricular activities and excursions culminating in a senior-year Capstone projects.

This is Cal State Stanislaus Location. Location. Location.

Situated in a park-like setting that is unique in the CSU system, new students are immediately drawn to CSU Stanislaus by its tranquil and picturesque environment — the perfect backdrop for focused, serious study. We have 228 acres of lawns, bridges, waterfalls, and ponds that will make students feel as though they are walking through a private park on their way to class. Our campus is considered one of the most beautiful—and safest—public campuses in all of California, where nature coexists in harmony with the pleasing architectural style of our buildings. Looking beyond the natural beauty, students find modern computer and research labs, a technologically enhanced library, and our latest addition, the Nora and Hashem Naraghi Hall of Science.

This is Cal State Stanislaus Student Life

There’s more to college than attending class, studying, or bubbling in answers on Scantron forms. At CSU Stanislaus , people experience a campus culture that fosters strong relationships between students, faculty, and administrators. Students make lifelong friends with their classmates, association and club members, fraternity brothers, and sorority sisters. Students become part of a vibrant campus life, where activities are plentiful. With close to 100 active student organizations and more than 9,000 potential friends at CSU Stanislaus, there is a niche for everyone.

Call us home

For many, living on campus is part of the college experience. Strong bonds and lifelong friendships are created through the shared experience of campus life. For campus residents, there are no hassles with transportation or parking, and classrooms and other facilities are just steps away from where our students live. The Village at CSU Stanislaus is decidedly not a typical dorm. With the choice of spacious single, double, or triple occupancy suites or single-occupancy apartments, students can pick the one that’s right for them. Privacy, yes, but Village life is anything but dull; with dozens of organized activities — from mixers to dances — students can be as involved as they want to be. The Village boasts two swimming pools, a spa, a total of seven coinless laundry facilities, a computer lab, a study hall, recreation room, sport courts, fitness center, and a new dining hall complete with an outdoor patio.

International Education

CSU Stanislaus students can take an internship in France, visit Malta, apply for a scholarship to China, or spend a summer in Prague. As an example, in a single semester, CSU Stanislaus students were recently studying in Spain, Israel, France, Canada, Australia, and Wales. Best of all, financial aid applies, so students can take courses for the same low fee AND study abroad! CSU Stanislaus was recently selected as one of eight national institutions for the Global Learning for All Program, which means that international/global education is integrated into coursework as an active component.

Faculty facts

CSU Stanislaus employs more than 450 full-time and part-time instructors who have a passion for helping students. The University boasts a low 19 to 1 student-to-teacher ratio. More than 80 percent of faculty hold doctorates, or an equivalent degree in their fields.

Financial Aid

We don’t let money stand in the way of a college education. Recently named one of America’s Best Value Colleges, CSU Stanislaus offers a top-quality education at an affordable price. Our students graduate with a debt load substantially below the national average, thanks, in part, to more than $35 million in financial aid awarded to students annually, with nearly $1 million of that from scholarships.

Internships

Experience gained from internships and fellowships offered at CSU Stanislaus often gives students the advantage in landing that crucial first job on their way to a lifelong career. Leading local, regional, and national companies, businesses, school districts, hospitals, social and government agencies proudly employ CSU Stanislaus graduates. And many of them began their careers as interns.

Prersident ’s Message 2010-11 President’s Message DR. HAMID SHIRVANI University President California State University Stanislaus Welcome to California State University, Stanislaus and Warrior Athletics. I am so proud of all of our sports teams and student-athletes. Their success on the field and in the classroom has contributed to the University’s reputation for excellence and its Princeton Review ranking. CSU Stanislaus is the only CSU campus listed among Princeton Review’s “Best 373 Colleges” in the United States. Warrior fans also deserve applause for turning out in increasingly strong numbers. The new 24-acre Student Recreation Complex has helped attract fans to some great home games. Soccer alone had the strongest average attendance among Division II schools last year. Cheered on by loyal fans, the men’s soccer team tied a school record with 11 victories and Victor Regalado became the University’s first All-American in men’s soccer. Three other student-athletes were also declared All-American. Pole vaulter Annie Burlingham made the first-team selection in women’s pole vault. Golfers Brandon Taylor and Trevor Blair earned All-American status as they led the Warriors to another National Championship appearance. Two of our coaches were honored by their peers as they were named CCAA Coach of the Year: John Cook of Men’s Golf and Verek Visaraga of Women’s Tennis. Warrior athletes once again demonstrated that their ability to succeed is not limited to the field. Thirty-one CSU Stanislaus student athletes had GPAs of 3.4 or higher, which is one of the strongest academic showings in the CCAA. The spotlight on CSU Stanislaus athletics is only getting brighter as the University will host three major championship events this academic year. We will host the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in May, 2011. Two CCAA conference tournaments will be held on campus. The Men’s & Women’s Soccer Championships will be held in November, 2010. The CCAA Track & Field Championships will be held in May, 2011. The academic and athletic achievements of CSU Stanislaus’ student athletes are to be commended. I encourage you to show your support for these fine athletes by becoming an enthusiastic fan and supporter of our outstanding teams. Go Warriors!

In 2009-10, the Warriors raised $5,064.92 — nearly $1,400 more than the second place finisher. In 2008, SAAC was involved with a campus community engagement project, Henry’s March, benefiting the Children’s Craniofancial Association. Working with event organizers and coordinated by Associate A.D. Kim Duyst, SAAC helped Henry’s March raised more than $25,000 for the C.A.A. California State University, Stanislaus and Warrior Athletics became a member of the NCAA CHAMPS/Life Skills program in 2007-08. The mission of the NCAA is to maintain intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of the campus educational program and the student-athlete as an integral part of the student body. With this in mind, the CHAMPS/Life Skills Program was created to support the student-athlete development initiatives of NCAA member institutions and to enhance the quality of the student-athlete experience within the context of higher education. In the process of achieving this mission, the CHAMPS/Life Skills Program will: • Promote student-athletes’ ownership of their academic, athletic, career, personal and community responsibilities. • Meet the changing needs of student-athletes. • Promote respect for diversity and inclusion among student-athletes. • Assist student-athletes in identifying and applying transferable skills. • Enhance partnerships between the NCAA, member institutions and their communities for the purpose of education. • Foster an environment that encourages student-athletes to effectively access campus resources. • Encourage the development of character, integrity and leadership skills. Participating institutions in the CHAMPS/Life Skills Program are provided with instructional materials and supplemental resources which support a student-athlete’s development in five areas: academics, athletics, personal development, career development and community service.

Academic Advising & Support Student-Athlete Academic Advising Program The number one goal for the Intercollegiate Athletics program at California State University Stanislaus is that our student-athletes graduate at a higher rate than the general student body. To achieve this goal coaches at Cal State Stanislaus only recruit student-athletes deemed admissible by the Director of Admissions who show promise for academic and athletic achievement. In the fall of 2006, under the direction of Vice President for Student Affairs Stacey Morgan-Foster and Director of Athletics Dr. Milton Richards, an Academic Advisor for student-athletes was recruited and a program to assist student-athletes in obtaining their college degree was established. Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Retention and Advising Lee Renner, Academic Advisor Amye Leon provides a comprehensive academic advising program for all student-athletes. Her program includes personal one on one advising, a supervised athletic study hall program, determination and monitoring of student-athlete NCAA and CCAA academic eligibility and most importantly, direct interaction with campus faculty on behalf of coaches, student-athletes and campus staff to assist all student-athletes in their pursuit of a college degree. AMYE LEON Success in the classroom for student-athletes is a top priority for Warrior Athletics. Our department consisAcademic Advisor tently earns a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Warrior student-athletes also achieve NCAA and CCAA Academic All American Awards, with 35 earning Academic All-CCAA honors in 2006-07, 52 in 2007-08, and 47 in 2008-09. Student athletes are strongly encouraged to visit both the Athletic Advisor and their chosen major department advisor/faculty each semester before registering for classes. The Advising Resource Center is located in Mary Stuart Rogers (MSR) 180, and appointments can be made by calling (209) 667-3304. Leon Graduated from California State University, Fresno with a B.A. in Psychology in 2001, obtained her M.A. in Educational Counseling and Student Services in 2002, and is currently enrolled as part of the first cohort of the Ed.D. program at CSU Stanislaus.

First-YEAR EXPERIENCE (F.Y.E.)

TUTORING AND STUDY HALL

A Special program for first semester freshmen

Academic tutoring is available through the Tutoring Center on campus. The Student-Athlete Academic Advisor will also establish a regular study hall program for all student-athletes. The Student-Athlete Academic Advisor is available to monitor the progress of each student-athlete and to ensure his/her academic success. The Tutoring Center is available on a “drop-in” basis with peer tutors in specific subject areas. Student-athletes can make an appointment with a specific tutor to address a specific academic challenge that they face. Any student-athlete with a learning disability can receive assistance by utilizing the resources available at the CSU Stanislaus Counseling Center and Testing Services. All resources available at the counseling and testing centers are designed to assist all students with learning disabilities and to provide the appropriate tools or techniques to address the disability to assure success at the college level. The Athletic Advisor, departmental academic advisor or team head coach will assist you in utilizing these services in a confidential manner. The Athletics Department Student-Athlete Study Hall Program has been established to assist at-risk studentathletes to utilize appropriate study habits and time management skills to succeed in the classroom.

Research shows that students who are part of a learning community and a FYE program do better in their classes, are more active on campus, make friends more easily, and get to know faculty more personally than students who do not join such a program. The FYE program provides these benefits for you. In the First Year Experience Program, you have the opportunity to join a learning community with other new students. The classes in the learning community are integrated around an interesting theme and linked to a seminar that will prepare you to be successful in your classes and will encourage you to get involved on campus. SRC & Athletics Facilities The Student Recreation Complex at California State University Stanislaus, opened in August of 2009, is located on the east side of campus. The SRC features a 19,000-square-foot fitness center, a 2,100-seat lighted soccer/football stadium (Warrior Stadium) with a state-of-the-art allweather turf and track (Al Brenda Track), a lighted intramural competition field and a soccer practice field. A field events site for the relocated track and field program is also included in the project. In its first year, Warrior Stadium hosted the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s & Women’s Soccer Championships. The facility is schedule to host three major championships in 2010-11: the CCAA Men’s & Women’s Soccer Championships, CCAA Track & Field Championships and the NCAA Division II Track & Field National Championships. During its inaugural soccer season, Warrior Stadium is the site of new attendance records for the Cal State Stanislaus men’s and women’s soccer programs. Both teams set new conference and school records in singleWarrior Stadium game and single-season attendance figures. The Warriors also led all of & AL Brenda Track NCAA Division II in single-game attendance. The track & field program hosted five meets on the Al Brenda Track, including the first Kim Duyst Invitational and the annual Brenda Athletic Clubs High School Invitational. In the same vicinity on the east side of the campus, the athletic facilities also include a baseball field, two softball fields and six tennis courts. The arena on the campus of Cal State Stanislaus is home to the Warriors’ men’s and women’s basketball teams, the women’s volleyball team, department of Intercollegiate Athletics, as well as the Department of Kinesiology. On the first day of basketball practices for the 2010-11 season, new letters were installed on the building, renaming the gym to Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena. The arena was renamed for Ed and Bertha Fitzpatrick, owners of Valley Lexus/Valley BMW in Modesto and other car dealerships in the Bay Area. The Fitzpatricks contributed $500,000 to the University in 2009. As a result, the California State University Board of Trustees has approved, at the recommendation of University President Ham Shirvani, that the campus’ Warrior Arena be renamed the Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena. In 1999, the gymnasium took on the name Warrior Arena, 21 years after it was built on the east side of the campus. Adjacent to the Field House, which is home to physical education professors’ offices and the Warrior Fitness Center, is a full-size swimming pool. All on the same side of the University, Warrior Athletics facilities also include the Warrior Baseball Field, known as one of the best on-campus baseball facilities in the CCAA, and CSUS Tennis Courts, which is home to the highly-competitive women’s tennis program.
