Representation

One of the primary purposes of Warwick SU is to represent you. Whether it’s to your academic department, to the University, the local council or nationally, we’re a great place to get support and help. This is most obvious when it comes to academic issues such as appeals and complaints, but can cover anything from housing issues to healthcare. Remember that our collective voice is stronger than a sole one - use your Union to represent you.

Liaison Committee SSLC Student-Staff Made up of students, staff and heads of departments, the SSLCs provide an accessible arena for students to discuss any concerns they have with teaching, learning and student support services with the academic staff from their department. They also provide an opportunity for the department to receive feedback from students, particularly if changes to a course are proposed. This is the strongest mechanism for getting involved with how your academic life at Warwick is shaped. You can run for election as an SSLC Representative in the first few weeks of Term One. education@warwicksu.com 024 7657 2779

Don’t just talk about these issues - change them. Visit www.warwicksu.com/sslc to make your voice heard.

Level two, SUHQ

Warwick SU runs an access scheme called Inspire which involves students visiting an array of mixed comprehensive schools in the West Midlands area. Students will talk about their life as a student at Warwick, and chat with pupils about their perceptions of the University experience. Participants will have the chance to give something back to the local community and hopefully motivate the next generation of University students, many of whom may not have considered University as an option. Communication and presentation skills are developed and the scheme always proves to be very rewarding for both pupils and students, something to help boost those crucial career prospects. We aim to take a full minibus to each session and would love a wide range of students from across our diverse student body to take part, absolutely any student can apply.

warwicksu.com/education

The scheme runs at the end of the second term so look out for information on notice boards or the SU website on how to apply or send an email to the Education Officer via education@warwicksu.com to find out more. Have the courage to Inspire!

Improving your academic experience that’s what I’m here for! I’m Sean, this year’s Education Officer. My job is to represent each of you to the University and even the government on academic issues. I’m also able to give advice and support on individual cases when you need it most. Part of my job involves co-ordinating the Student-Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) system that allows your voice to be heard on how your course is run. I also sit on University committees discussing aspects of academic life at Warwick, always fighting the students’ corner! I will be running big campaigns on issues ranging from fees to feedback, so keep an eye out on how you can get involved and have your say on issues that matter to students. Finally, if you have any problems relating to your course or department, or a more general problem about any aspect of your academic experience, feel free to send me an email or drop into my office so I can do my level best to help you out. Democracy

We are proud to say that Warwick SU is run by students, for students. Students’ Unions have a legal obligation to be run by their members; however, for us it goes much deeper than that. Whether we are representing you on a national level on issues such as student fees or to the University on services that matter to you, responding to students’ wants and needs is at the heart of what we do.

Referenda With campus-wide debate and campaigning, referenda allow decision making to reach across the entire student body. The highest decision making platform on matters of affiliation, we have two referenda periods a year with the ability to pass Union policy with the greatest involvement. democracy@warwicksu.com 024 7657 2788 Level two, SUHQ warwicksu.com/democracy

Union Council Representing your views, Council is the largest representative body in your Union. Councillors and Officers debate, amend and pass policy which directs the way the Union is run and the messages it sends to the University, the region and the wider world. If you’re interested in running to be a Councillor then more information is available on the democracy pages of the SU website. Elections are held early in the first term with potential co-options throughout the year.

Executive Committee The Executive Committee of the Union concentrates on implementing policy made at any of the other Union meetings. Be it Council, a General Meeting or Referenda, ‘Exec’ is charged with seeing that what gets decided gets put into practice. On top of

Decision making power

The highest decision-making platform, General Meetings consider the most controversial issues with all students having their say. Taking place at least once a year, the meetings are similar to Council in how they are run and what they decide. General Meetings can also be called at any time by petition if there is a particular issue that students want to discuss and make a decision on.

this, the Executive Committee is responsible for ensuring that Union Officers stick to their manifesto pledges and deliver on their promises. Whether it is co-ordinating and participating in campaigns against top-up fees or ensuring that the Union’s tea supply is Fairtrade, they make sure all that debate doesn’t go to waste.

Sabbatical Officers The ‘Sabbs’ as they are often known are the seven lead student representatives of your Union. They take a year out either during or after their studies and work full-time in a variety of roles: President, Education, Democracy & Communications, Finance, Welfare, Societies and Sports. Sabbs are elected in term two in the hectic Officer Elections under a manifesto detailing where they think the Union should be heading. It’s vital that all students use their vote as these seven officers are responsible for steering the direction of the Union on a day-to-day basis. As your representatives, the Sabbs are always available for you to pop in and have a chat. Our offices are upstairs in SUHQ.

As your Democracy & Communications Officer it’s my job to keep you in the know and to find out what you want from your Union. I oversee all of the Union’s democratic processes, from elections and general meetings to Union Council and Exec, and more than anything else I want to get you involved. Whether by running for a post yourself or simply voting, it’s really important that everyone has their say in the future of Warwick SU. To the University you’re simply students but to us you’re members and it’s important that you don’t forget that. I’m also responsible for putting together publicity like the guide you’re reading now, writing your member emails, producing the Bubble and content for the website. However, communication will always be a two-way thing for me. I run the Union’s feedback service ‘Have Your Say’, and so if you want to change something about Warwick SU I’ll do my best to make it happen. Chris Luck DEMOCRACY AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Committees & Forums The Union has eight Committees and Forums covering Welfare, Campaigns, Academic, Society, Student Sport, Postgraduate, Democratic and International issues. These groups implement Union policy, represent students and direct the work of the Union, and any student can be involved with them. Elections happen at the end of term two through Union Council for the following academic year. Any vacancies are co-opted at Council throughout the year for more information check out the website.

Board of Trustees The Trustees are responsible for ensuring the financial security of your Union and for guaranteeing our legal compliance. Made up of the seven Sabbatical Officers, students and lay trustees external to the organisation they discuss strategy and help set the overall direction of Warwick SU. Check out www.warwicksu.com/trustees to find out who sits on the Board and find details of their activities.

elections From Autumn Elections 2010 to Officer Elections 2011, campus comes alive with candidates vying for your vote. In Brief

NUS President Address Hello Warwick! It’s a huge honour to be able to write to you as President of the National Union of Students. As the representative voice for students across the UK, NUS has a proud history of standing up for the rights of students, and fighting to ensure you gain access to a world-class education system. NUS has played a critical role making student life better. In the last two years we have clawed back millions of pounds for students to fight for interest-free student overdrafts, won a national tenancy deposit scheme to make sure you get your money back and conducted groundbreaking research into the student experience to ensure your academic and welfare issues are prioritised within your University or College. The year ahead promises to be both exciting and challenging. Government cuts to the education budget, and the reporting of the long-awaited review into University Funding and Student Finance chaired by Lord Browne will take centre stage. NUS will be leading the fight to oppose any increase in tuition fees, whilst fighting for a fairer alternative altogether. But we won’t just be fighting on fees. Accommodation, feedback, contact time, quality of teaching, environmental issues, supporting Students’ Unions, hidden course costs, liberation, global justice, volunteering, employability, academic representation and so much more are all on the agenda as we are determined to help make your student life better. NUS has a long history of leading the fight to ensure students can get the best deal possible - I’m really looking forward to my term in office and helping to make the lives of students even better! In unity, Aaron Porter

Warwick Students’ Union is a not-forprofit organisation, meaning that any money we make, we plough straight back into student services that benefit you (such as the Student Advice Centre, clubs and societies). As this year’s Finance Officer it’s my responsibility to ensure the budgets balance and to oversee the Union’s £7 million turnover. I’ll also be providing financial support for all the clubs and societies, including any high-profile events they hold. I’m also responsible for ensuring that all of the commercial activities of the Union (The Dirty Duck, The Terrace Bar, The Bread Oven...) deliver the services students want, and provide you all with good value for money. I’m here to listen to all of your comments and suggestions on how we can improve the commercial aspects of the Union – if you’ve got any ideas on how to improve your experience during a night out in The Copper Rooms or think there’s an awesome new cider we should have in stock in the Dirty Duck, come and have a chat! welfare

There are many problems facing students nowadays - with your course, with housing, with the law, with anything. Luckily, the Student Advice Centre is here to help. The Citizens’ Advice Bureau of campus, we run a free, confidential and informal service to support your life at University. We are located on the second floor of SUHQ, next to the lift. Our four fully-trained advisors can help with issues related to housing, immigration, money, academic, consumer rights, and much more. Our advisors will try their utmost to make sure you can make an informed decision about the difficulties that you may face - and if we can’t help we’ll direct you to someone who can.

During term-time, student volunteers staff our reception desk. The Student Advice Centre receives over 6,000 enquiries per year. If you’re facing a problem, and you don’t know who to speak to, then try us.

Counselling The University runs an invaluable, confidential counselling service and a faith-based alternative if you feel it is more appropriate to speak to someone of faith, outside of both Warwick SU and the University. The University Counselling Service provides an opportunity for all students in the University to access professional counselling so that they may better develop and fulfil their personal, academic and professional potential. student COMMUNITY reps scheme With generous funding from the Leamington Spa Town Council Community Fund and Warwick District Council’s Small Grants Scheme, this student-led programme aims to highlight a range of issues including noise, recycling and rubbish collection, as well as the general importance of students being a good neighbour. Over the last year the reps have made efforts to gather feedback from the local community through the creation of a survey to identify what students consider to be problems when they live in South Leamington. The scheme has demonstrated the desire of Warwick University’s students to be good community neighbours in Leamington Spa and presentations about the scheme have been positively received by local councillors, external bodies as well as the wider population. Absolutely any student can get involved as a volunteer in this exciting project! For more, please visit www.warwicksu.com/community.

Run at the end of the academic year, this campaign aims to make sure that when students leave their houses in Leamington few useful or reusable possessions end up going to waste, making sure they get reused or recycled. A Green Brigade is being assembled to run a project similar to the campus rooms clearance run by Warwick Volunteers, but focusing on vacated houses in Leamington.

Hey, I’m Leo, the Welfare Officer up at the Students’ Union. I just graduated with a Politics and International Studies degree and am extremely excited for the year ahead! In a nutshell, I work with the Student Advice Centre and the University to provide you with all the services you would need for any problems you might encounter; from issues with landlords to problems with housemates; from immigration advice to counselling; from volunteering opportunities to dealing with personal difficulties; from helping you run campaigns to promoting safe sex and responsible drinking; from organising blood donations to voicing your welfare concerns to the University; from international student concerns (I speak French and Spanish apart from English, and am an international student myself) to reporting hate crimes. I’m always here for a chat if you need me, and if I can’t help you I’ll definitely find someone that can. Remember, everything that happens in my office is kept completely confidential! My mobile number will be on my office door, feel free to contact me any time.

campaigns

Here at Warwick SU we’re proud of the campaigns that we run. From anti-racism and environmental action to local transport and TV licensing – we have a strong tradition of taking action as a student body. We have elected Campaigns Officers (details in the Officer Directory at the back), responsible for raising awareness in specific areas but there are also plenty of campaign societies to get involved with. Whether you want to start a petition, lobby the University or march on Downing Street, your Union is there to help you. Listed below are some of our most prominent campaigns, but there are plenty more including Blood and Bone Marrow Donations, Faith2Face (interfaith) Week and Women’s Week. ‘All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights’ - Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Every year the Amnesty International Society organises a jam-packed schedule with talks from key speakers, films and demonstrations relating to global human rights. Issues raised range from the humanitarian crisis in Gaza to the death penalty, from forced migration and asylum seekers to coping in a world that is becoming more and more securitised. The week aims to raise awareness about the realities and challenges our world faces.

14 14

Every year Pride gets together with the Students’ Union and puts on a week of events designed to raise awareness of the plight of LGBTUA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, undefined and asexual) students, ranging from talks and debates to taster sessions and clubbing events. Held late in Term 1, the week is organised by the Warwick Pride society and our Campaigns Officer (contact details in the directories at the back). Come along and get involved, celebrate the fact that people should take pride in their sexual orientation and gender identity.

One of the most important campaigns on campus is that of encouraging safe sex practice. In order to curb the spreading and contracting of STIs, the Welfare Officer works in conjunction with Warwick Hospital’s sexual health facilities to bring mobile clinics to campus.

GUM CLINIC

GUM (Genito-Urinary Medicine) clinics come to campus twice a term to carry out free and confidential sexual health checks for transmitted infections such as chlamydia, gonorrhoea, hepatitis B, syphilis and HIV.

Go Green Week is a national event which forms the cornerstone of the People and Planet society’s environmental campaign. With a wide variety of activities occurring across the country, it is the biggest studentled environment week in the UK. The programme includes debates on new green technologies, green politics and sustainable development. There are also workshops, volunteer conservation projects and sports activities planned. The schedule has five different themed days, packed with a variety of activities all concentrating on green issues.

When doctors tell you to ‘look after your health’, what pops into your head? Most people equate ‘health’ with physical health, but this misses out a large portion of what we need to keep ourselves on top of everything: good mental health. This isn’t something you have, but something you do, and looking after your mental health and wellbeing is just as important as looking after your physical body. Feel Good Week happens once a year and includes free entry to the gym for a week, free healthy snacks handed out around campus and lots of advice on how to stay fit and healthy.

societies

From Warwick Student Cinema to Big Band, as far as Societies are concerned, there really is something for everyone at Warwick SU. Societies bring together students who are interested in or care about a certain issue or activity, or simply want to try something new. The Union supports these societies by providing funding, training and facilities for their activities to take place in. With over two hundred societies here at Warwick SU, there’s bound to be something for you. We have more societies than any other Students’ Union in the country, so you’ve made the right choice coming to Warwick! To see what we can offer you, visit www.warwicksu.com/societies or check out the directory at the back of this guide.

So what do societies do, exactly? Our societies cover just about every area of interest or activity you could imagine. If there isn’t a society for something you’re interested in, you’re more than welcome to get a few people together and start one up.

societies@warwicksu.com 024 7657 2781 Level two, SUHQ warwicksu.com/societies

Joining a society is a great way to try out something completely new, make new friends and most importantly have a whole lot of fun. There are also loads of opportunities to run societies, which will get you dealing with budgets, organising trips and picking up a whole bunch of skills that you won’t get from just doing your degree.

How do I join?

▪▪ Join the Societies Federation from the

Societies tab on of the SU website. It’s £10 for one year’s membership and once paid you can join any societies you like. This money goes straight back to societies in the budget, helping to fund all the wild, wacky and wonderful events that they put on, as well as funding some of the admin that societies create.

▪▪ Societies usually charge around £3

Societies Fair

▪▪ The Societies Fair happens during week

one at the start of the year and is spread over two days - Wednesday and Thursday.

▪▪ At the fair each society will have a stall. You can chat to the people running the society and get a taste of what each of them involves.

▪▪ There are 10 different categories of society: Academic, Activities & Games, Campaigning, Cultural, Film & Media, Food & Drink, Hall Societies, Music Appreciation, Performance, Religious & Belief, and Welfare, Charity & Action

▪▪ Make sure you join your Hall society (eg

Jack Martin Society if you’re living in Jack Martin), these are a great way to get to know people living in your halls who aren’t sharing your kitchen. Hall societies run trips, organize socials and enter some of the sports leagues. If you’re feeling really eager to get involved and fancy running your hall society this year, elections will be taking place around Week 4.

▪▪ When you find societies you like you can grab a barcode from them and buy your memberships then and there. Alternatively you can join online at www.warwicksu.com/societies

▪▪ Most of the societies will only be attending the Societies Fair for one of the days make sure you come along to both so that you don’t miss out!

Hey, I’m Andy, your Societies Officer. Here at Warwick we’ve got over 200 societies, more than any other uni in the country. Societies are what has made my time at Warwick awesome and now hopefully I can help give you the same experience. It’s my job to look after basically all society issues. If you want to set up a new society, put on an event or themed week, organise a tour or do absolutely anything else society related, I’m your guy. I’m also the main point of contact for the massive events like One World Week and WSAF. On top of that I’m in charge of allocating budgets and giving training and advice to society exec members. All in all, it’s going to be a busy year!

In Brief

▪▪ We offer more societies than any other Union in the country.

▪▪ If we don’t have what you’re looking for then you can look into setting up your own society – contact the Societies Officer to find out more.

▪▪ Each society is run by a student exec with a variety of positions, all of which look great on a CV.

If you’ve got any questions or just fancy a chat, you can find me in my office in SUHQ or feel free to drop me an email. Have a great year and make sure you’re at both days of the societies fair! Andy White

HOW DO WE COMPARE?

SPORTS FIXTURES Like most UK Universities, Wednesday afternoon is Sports afternoon at Warwick. The University commits to keeping the time free from academic stuff so that you are able to go and represent Warwick across the country at every sport imaginable. Whether it’s Rugby, Football, Canoe Polo or T’ai Chi, Warwick has a strong reputation across all the BUCS (British Universities and College Sports) leagues and it’s only getting stronger.

At £71 less than Birmingham University and £137 less than Bath University, sport at Warwick is not to be missed. With full membership to Warwick Sport and the Sports Centre (including unlimited access to the pool and fitness suite) for just £138, you’re getting a bargain.

Don’t worry if you haven’t reached national standards yet and just want a run about; every single club offers beginners courses and are open to all standards, as well as active KPMG leagues at casual level, in all of our most popular sports.

LEAGUES & LADDERS

HOW DO I JOIN?

If you still think club sport isn’t your thing you could always try one of our ladders (ask at the Sports Centre for details) or internal KPMG football, cricket and mixed netball leagues.

Join Warwick Sport online at www.warwicksu.com/sport

Open to all, you just need to get a group of friends together (all members of Warwick Sport), come up with a team name and sign

up early. Look out for details in Warwick Sport emails and on the Union and Warwick Sport websites near the beginning of term one.

It is £45 for one year’s membership which allows you to join any Sports Club and use the pool, halls and pitches, or you can upgrade your membership to use the gym and climbing wall.

Joining your Students’ Union gives you the perfect chance to become further involved in any of our 70+ sports clubs. Regardless of your experience or ability, Warwick Sport will enhance your life. From competing in national sports with our University sides, to playing casual sports in our internal leagues, you’ll get the opportunity to meet, train, compete and socialise with a variety of people you would otherwise not have met. Every club offers something different in terms of atmosphere, people and competition, and I can guarantee there is something suitable for everyone.

In Brief

▪▪ We offer a huge number of sporting activities – from internal clubs to national level.

▪▪ We’re significantly cheaper than most other Universities.

▪▪ The University is committed to

leaving Wednesday afternoons free from academic sessions – it’s difficult not to get involved.

There’s also great opportunities for travelling, from the mountains on a Warwick Snow tour, to sun-filled beaches with Warwick surf - almost every club will take members on a sports tour during the year, so make sure you don’t miss out! So, when you first arrive on campus, engaging in sport should be a priority. Make sure you make the most of our incredible facilities, our student-run KPMG leagues and our vibrant club social scene! The Warwick Student Arts Festival (WSAF) is the largest student-run arts festival in the UK. Taking place across campus in the final week of the academic year, the festival showcases all the amazing talent and skills which our students possess. Highlights each year range from concerts and dance performances to theatre and community projects.

Billed as one of the most bizarre week of the campus calendar, RAG Week descends at the end of term one. A miscellany of items can be delivered to lectures (including chocolates, pints or even a single red rose), giant animals appear round campus and a whole plethora of events grace the evenings at the Union. There’s even time for some mischief - Gnomings (involving a target being cling-filmed to a tree and covered in flour, water and baked beans) offer some cheeky opportunities for revenge, perfect for if a flatmate hasn’t been doing their share of the washing up. The best bit? The whole thing’s for charity!

Entirely student-run, the event doesn’t just revolve around economics. It also touches on many other relevant topics in the sphere of social studies such as development, politics, globalisation and international relations.

Every year in term two we take on our arch rivals Coventry University to see who can claim the title of the greatest sporting institution this side of the A46. Including the entire spectrum of sporting activities, every game, match and race is crucial. Warwick are the undefeated Varsity champions but after a close-call last year expect Coventry to be coming back seeking revenge...

With over 110 beers, ciders, fruit wines and meads to try, there is guaranteed to be a drink that will suit everyone’s palate!

When it comes to entertainment on campus, Warwick SU covers everything from big-name DJs and established acts to student bands, theatre, comedy, sport and dance. Whether it’s a club night or society event, there’s always something interesting going on that’s sure to appeal to even the most wayward tastes! If clubbing isn’t your thing, Curiositea runs a fortnightly poetry and acoustic night, Beats & Bars, together with a monthly vintage fashion fair. Sunday nights will be home to a range of cabaret-style events including hypnotism, film screenings and comedy, and The Dirty Duck Sports Bar will be dedicated to showing big screen sport. ‘My experience at Warwick has been one of the most amazing and wonderful experiences I have ever had. I’d describe Warwick as being a cosmopolitan mini built town with excellent sporting, academic and musical facilities. You always bump into someone you know whenever you walk across the buzzing campus. Warwick is simply the place to be. postgraduates

Postgrads – welcome to your Union! While we know that many of you will be sampling everything that The Dirty Duck has to offer, dancing the night away at the many unique and diverse events hosted by The Copper Rooms, enjoying a cosy cuppa and cheeky slice of cake in Curiositea and cocktails on The Terrace Bar, we also know that, at times, your needs are very different from those of Undergraduate students. With this in mind we want to highlight some of the things Warwick SU does for you and how you can get involved and help us to make your experience here at Warwick the best it can possibly be…

Representation With a different degree structure comes very different needs in terms of academic representation. With this in mind we ask you to elect Faculty Representatives each year – one each for Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences and the Medical School. With a seat on University Committees and the Union’s Academic Forum, real change can be enacted. Union Council, one of Warwick SU’s democratic decision-making bodies, also has nine seats reserved exclusively for Postgraduate students. With the ability to pass policy and mandate Union Officers, it’s vital that the postgraduate voice is heard. This is one of the best ways to make a real difference to your experience here at Warwick SU, so come and have your say.

Postgraduate Forum Aiming to directly engage PGs in their Union, the Postgraduate Forum discusses the best means of communicating with distance learners, creating a postgrad-centred entertainment programme and ensuring our facilities meet your needs. A Postgraduate Forum Co-ordinator is elected early on in the year to help promote and lead this group. Find out more and get involved at www.warwicksu.com/postgrad.

A Postgraduate Student’s Perspective Having done my Undergraduate degree at a different University I was really worried about coming somewhere new and not knowing anyone – turns out I had no reason to worry. At the welcome sessions put on by the Postgrad Society I met new friends and got involved in heaps of new activities.

In Brief

▪▪ Warwick SU is here for you too. ▪▪ Join the Postgraduate Society – a

great way to meet new people and try out new activities.

▪▪ Get involved in Union Council, SSLCs and in the Postgraduate Forum.

My favourite Union haunt is most definitely Curiositea. As a History student I’ve got lots of books to get through and the welcoming atmosphere there means time flies by! At night, The Terrace Bar is great for socialising, a great stop-off before a night in The Copper Rooms. If it weren’t for Warwick SU I don’t know how I’d have coped during my first weeks. People say Undergrad degrees are daunting but as a Postgrad things are even more intense. Get involved in the Union and your time at Warwick will be even more enjoyable! Lydia Plath History PHD

Academic Representation Between our Education Officer, Part-time Officers and Student Advice team we’re dedicated to providing representation on academic issues that affect Postgrads. The Education Officer coordinates the universitywide Student-Staff Liaison Committee (SSLCs) system whereby postgraduate representatives can meet with academics in their department to discuss and improve the running of their course and the general learning experience. The Education Officer and specialist advisers in the Student Advice Centre can provide advice and representation on individual problems from the routine to the more serious. So whether it’s a general problem effecting the department or a more individual problem, Warwick SU is here to provide advice, support and representation.

A Postgraduate Student’s Perspective Going straight into postgraduate study after getting my BSc here at Warwick University, I thought Warwick life would be a breeze. I knew where everything was, had plenty of friends sticking around and thought I knew everything the Union had to offer.

don’t forget to visit www.warwicksu.com

That was until I had funding issues with my new course and hitting brick wall after brick wall I went and spoke to the Sabbs in SUHQ and sought help from the Student Advice Centre. The help I got was fantastic and is the reason I’m still here today; it also persuaded me to get involved and run for a seat on Union Council so that now I too can help represent PG issues to the University. jobs & volunteering

jobs at warwick su Here in the Union we employ around 250 part-time student staff. We have a whole host of different roles available – from bar staff and Technical Services crew to our student Street Team. Working for the SU part-time is a great opportunity to meet people, have fun and – most importantly – earn a bit of extra cash. As a Union, we understand that students are under a lot of pressure at particular points of the year – particularly during exam time. We always try our best to be flexible with our parttime staff, and accommodate any requests for fewer shifts. This is a lot easier for us than for other organisations, as when everyone is busy with exams we are always a little quieter than usual. For details on how to apply for any of our roles within the SU, check out the jobs section of our website at www.warwicksu.com/jobs. We always take on new staff during the Freshers period, but new roles always crop up throughout the year, so keep checking the SU website for details.
