WARWICK SU TAXI CAMPAIGN A massive thankyou to everyone took the time to email in last term with their experiences of unfair taxi practises in the local area – we had hundreds of responses through, which we’re now turning into action on the issue! SU Sabbatical Officers have already been out spreading the word about our findings over the last few weeks via local news media, as well as meeting with relevant authorities, taxi firms and MPs to discuss issues such as journey refusals, discriminatory practises, prejudicial attitude towards student fares, safety issues and more. Look out for more info as we officially launch our Taxi Campaign this fortnight – stay tuned to the SU website and social media pages for further details!
